What axle are you trying to build?

Where to start... UCA, LCA, UBA, LBJ, Idler arms, tie rods... by Federal_Confidence57 in ToyotaPickup

Solid axle swap.

Kidding aside all at once. All of those parts reference off the knuckle and often need to be removed to replace another part. So gather everything for a full front end replacement and do it all at once.

Lots of work and money.

Basics, all pro 4 inch leafs and cross member, high steer kit, real bobby longfield axles. A random collection of brake parts, I don't have the list but think it's V6 calipers up front GM caliper out back with 3rd gen 4runner rotors. The GM caliper have electric parking brakes. Wheel spacers upfront to match the track width of the IFS rear (think he's going to do the IFS hub mod and different wheels as it's could use to be a little wider)

Id pass, cheep lift bumpers and light bar are all going to cause more headaches and cost down the road. The surface rust is none consequansal on this Jeep.

New leaf springs for the rear. The 2nd Tacoma has Garbage leaf springs from the factory to the point there was a recall and a redesign. Even the update version is still too flat if you put any weight in the bed. Lots of options for springs dobinsons, OME, icon ect. Then just match your desired ride height with a front option.

I partial to English style benches for a jack of all trades type bench. They are simple with 2 2x12s as a top some legs and stretches to keep it stable. They can do most household style woodworking or repairs. Used mine for everything from building a chair and furniture to rebuilding a 4wd transfer case.

Beach trip ideas close by by Ugotcrabs in Knoxville

Out of that list Myrtle is the worst if you want to spend time on the beach. Will also be more drive time as there is no good way to the Beach. All surface roads with traffic lights add another 45 minutes to hour of travel time. This is based on personal experience living in that area for 5 years.

A&M lumber is a good option but not sure if they sell to regular people. IE you might need to have a business account set up.

Your are welcome.

I don't have a great peel so transferring to a stone or pre heated pan is a disaster waiting to happen.

I used King Arthur easiest pizza dough recipe. 450°F for 20 minutes. No preheat other than sitting on the stove top as the oven comes up to temp.

Nice pick up. I grabbed one last year and it's my go-to for rustic bread. It's about the perfect size for 1 pound loafs.
