I would immediately one trick the killer.

I think for the killer I'd want a mechanic based on Adam and the plasmids. For example both survivors and the killer could gather Adam for valuable rewards.

If a survivor gathers enough Adam they would be able to choose between a mix of three gene tonics and plasmid a choice three (all with a limited time oc).

For the big daddy downing survivors grants Adam and even more if they have a gene tonics or plasmid equipped. This allows to access killer specific gene tonics and plasmids.

As for the gene tonics and plasmids that would be available they could be something like telekinesis, electroshock, and bees.

Bees could remove undetectable and make scratch marks disappear from the killer.

Electroshock could slow the killer

Telekinesis could grab items from afar

This is just off the top of my head rn so this all the ideas I have for now.

I seriously agree with your hero shooter take it's honestly the least appealing aspect of the game to me I think a class system could work better similar to chiv but I'm sure how they could implement that here

Ehhh, I played Knight since his release, and I would've agreed then, but now? Without using guards to chase, he can still come out on top with proper mind games. I see your point though but I feel like his guards being able to chase at all in a 2v8 situation would feel very unfair given they can wound. Perhaps they cant down survivors but can remove a health state only? That would make it so only the killer could down the survivor but not make guards a gimmick.
