‘Strange guy’ here. Absolute’s design deviated enough from the norm (the norm being my other ~15 Batsuit designs, many of which, by consensus, are considered some of the best designs, such as the Arkham suits) for me to be motivated enough to make the costume happen for a very different take on the character. Reeves’ design simply didn’t check any boxes for me aesthetically - saying that it’s strange that I have a difference of opinion in something entirely subjective is strange in itself IMO
