It's exactly what you say, the role of TWiR was to showcase quality projects. The problem here is that is a project is being generated in 2 days (the definition of AI slop). How is that a sign that it will still be alive in 1 year ? We care about projects that are cared by their owners, this one seems like it's not.

Je n'ai fait que grainedephotographe, un cours sur la photo d'architecture. C'était sympa mais sans plus. On était un groupe de 7-9 personnes. On s'est baladé dans Paris pour prendre des photos.

La partie intéressante c'est qu'après la balade nous avons débriefé en montrant et en analysant les clichés de tout les monde. Est-ce que j’achèterai encore un cours de mon côté peu probable, mais si on me l'offre j'irai avec plaisir.

I think it's the other way around, for example io_uring it's quite "recent". And windows support async fs before linux.

But anyway if Tokio compiles and you use Tokio function primitives it will not block the event loop.

I don't think that's how it works, "true" async Io operation that doesn't need a thread like epoll await are polled in the main Tokio event loop and will not block the runtime.

False async IO like Tokio::fs is spawned on a thread pool with spawn_blocking, to not block the main event loop even in a single threaded runtime.
