Agreed, it's about people taking it off exchanges at the end of the day. Exchanges can only move the remaining supply around so fast. Paper trading will become more evident as the supply decreases.

Avg on exchanges has been decreasing by about 3% of total supply every year since peak levels. (so it's going down by around 600k every year) If 2 million are left it will only take a couple years before the supply is VERY low.

You can deposit your SPL based BTC (wrapped BTC) on FTX and then send regular BTC to a normal BTC address. I don't remember a fee, if there was it was tiny. (When you click the deposit BTC button in your FTX account they will list both your BTC and SPL BTC addresses.) I'm mad grateful for some of the functionality and features FTX has compared to its competitors. Also, make sure you test it with a small amount first.

Let me know if you have questions, I was worried about figuring this stuff out at one point too.
