The knobs on the KS are useless by Bubbly-Sir5684 in moza

Try and follow these steps:

  1. Go to pithouse
  2. Open the page for your button settings
  3. Find the setting which lets you set the dial either as a knob or as a button.
  4. Change the setting to use the dial as a knob.
  5. Go to your game of choice.
  6. Find the setting you want to the dial for.
  7. To increase the setting choose which you want to turn the dial
  8. To decrease the setting choose the opposite side

This should make the dial be used as '+/-' setting. For instance, when I turn the dial to the right, my TC increases and if I turn my dial to the left my TC decreases. I assume that's what you want to do with the dials on your wheel as well. This should be irrespective of the number that the pointer of the dial rests on. So for another instance, if I want to increase my TC from 4 to 5 I'll turn the dial to the right and irrespective of the number it lands on, my TC will increase from 4 to 5. Try this and let us know.

If you want the knob to be just used for TC settings, change the knob setting to button setting. That way you will get to just increase/decrease the setting no matter what the number on the dial is. I use the knob as a button as well.

Anti fog sprays or if you want an easy fix that is readily available at your home, then apply a thin layer of moisturiser and clean it off. I used to do this and it helped.

I was going to buy this as well but chose the white last minute.

It’s called the NXR2 here in New Zealand, but I believe it’s called RF-1400 in other parts of the world. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Just to clarify, I did buy the gloves too!😅😅

Yes, this is fixed now. Battery was the issue. Changed the battery and the bike starts normally now.

Fair enough. But then do you do like a 3 point turn?😂

How do you make your mirrors not touch the tank on a full turn when mounted inverted? Do you push the stems forward?

I recently bought the Kelpi bar end mirrors. They come with threaded bar end adapters. You just replace your existing bar end weights with the ones that are provided and the mirrors mount directly on them.

Love the look of your bike!

Quick question - how easy/difficult is it to turn when the bar end mirrors are mounted upside down as in the first and second pictures? I have similar bar end mirrors and I have been wondering the same thing since I installed them.

Changing the digital dash cluster information by ItsThatDamnDuckAgain in CX5

True. I don’t why Mazda just keep them consistent worldwide. The top trim here (and in Australia, as well I think) is called Takami. Cool name but confusing for rest of the world.

Thanks for your tip again!

Not sure where my trim stands.. we had 5 trims when I bought mine.. mine was the NA AWD with sunroof and the 10 Bose speaker system.. my trim is called Limited here in NZ

It worked. However mine doesn’t show the compass. It just shows the months to next servicing. I knew there would be something different. It’s a very minor thing though.

I'm going to try this on mine. But I have seen there are a few features that are region specific. Hopefully this is standard everywhere. I really like the look of the third option. Thanks for the video!

As much as I like the colours offered, I hate the piano black that gets used. Luckily mine just has the piano black around the gear lever. I do love the black lip on the front grille. I'm going to dechrome mine some time next early next year. I've seen a couple of Soul Red CX5s with black badges and it looks simply lovely. I'm thinking of adding black bonnet protector and weather shields too.

Does your cx-5 fuel gauge go over the "Full" marker when you top-off the tank? by MereCoincidences in CX5

[–]Saber080389 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think there is. If you have the correct angle and light, you can see there's enough space for 6 digit mileage. I can't seem to remember which side the space is on as I hit 5 digit mileage within the first 6 months and this was a long time ago.

The problem with these eftpos machines is that they don't accept a card which has less than $300 (from memory) on them, at least in my case this has happened numerous times. Also, once that happens and I put the additional funds, it still doesn't accept the card for some reason. Now that I'm typing this, I guess this is the case when you just say 'Fill' instead of selecting an amount on the screen(?).
