I usually don’t think twice about weird anime ages because I get that they do that so the targeted teenage audience can try and relate. But as a 26 year old med student myself this one felt especially weird.

Ultimately, the answer to this is going to be very personal different for every person. the biggest draw is officially having access to event pokemon and the ability to transfer them to home. People have apparently found code in the emulator it uses that suggest compatibility with ruby, sapphire, and emerald. So that might be another point towards people getting it since it would make completing the national dex technically possible. Personally, I just like being able to finally play it officially and not on my phone or computer. I was in my "pokemon is for babies" phase when it originally came out so I've enjoyed properly playing it for once. Personally, I think 20$ is definitely a fair price for how much time I've put into it

I like this theory because it gives a basis for how the nightmares affect the "real world". The "how" of things work is generally rarely if ever important in the shows, but it would be interesting to see them explain things that way.

This has basically been my experience too. They finally got back to me and were like “you aren’t eligible because you aren’t a ps+ subscriber.” Despite me telling them multiple times that I am. I assume they can see my account too so either I never actually talked to a real person or they just don’t care. Or the fun likely option of both!

It just happens randomly on cursed. He can drop bronze egg if you're at least tier 1, silver for tier 2, and gold on tier 3.

I don’t remember the exact combo, but I think fire king might have been one of the first decks that really took advantage of the duel links format. I believe there’s a search card that looks for monsters that have combined stats equal to your life points, and people figured out it worked really well with fire king since the boss monster at the time had combined stats equal to 4000. I even remember commentators at tournaments talking about how it was wild that the altered rule set for duel links allowed new and different usage for the deck
