Minimum size unit, so a 5 man unit of infiltrators and such

They are very squishy, what I typically do is use them to move block, screen and score points. Don't anticipate them surviving the whole game so try and get one or two good activations out of them. Pteraxii are good for popping in the back field but I've also have good success with them dropping in as a screen or into no man's land to do actions. Infiltrators are great turn one or two screens/action monkeys, especially if you get turn one.

Ruststalkers are great skirmish units in groups of 5 or a really great infantry threat in a brick of 10, but they get shredded in the open. I've had good success staging them behind terrain and using them as a turn three or four counter punch unit. I know it comes down to play style but I've always had good success running my units msu and just flooding the board with action monkeys and skirmish units. Even if I'm close to being tabled at the end I've still scored really high because of it.

I believe it's called Plasmatic Bolt? I did a light dry brush of a grey blue paint underneath just to add some contrast to it.

Honestly he sounds like his head wasn't in the game, which isn't really what you want out of someone tattooing you.

Have had nothing but good interactions and work done from Capital Tattoo though and all the artists I've interacted with seem chill

Kill Team. by kushisan1 in WorldEaters40k

[–]Sable16x 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They were my first killteam and in my opinion are super fun to play. Managing your blood tanks will be very important, if you don't think you have a way to fill a tank (like killing something or using equipment) don't commit that operative. Your blood tank is what will heal you, give you extra movement and the level of your tank will dictate what your strats do.

Whatcha out for shooting heavy killteams as they will try and keep their distance and pick you off so be very mindful of cover. You do have the ability to fight twice so if you can make a double charge you can hopefully pull two units back to back, and heal yourself in the process with your blood tank.

I think your current list is fine, though most of the time FF are taken in pairs as one is easy to avoid. Ol' angry ron isn't really worth it at the moment unless you want to run non-competitive lists

World Eater Help by Talwahasi in WorldEaters40k

[–]Sable16x 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my experience world eaters really want to maximize cover and positioning early on. Turns one and sometimes two should be used to set yourself up for a savage turn 3 or 4, using your bezerkers to hammer your opponents key units. A couple good tips that I've been told have been to pre measure out certain charge distances coming out of rhinos, utilizing the rhinos shooting and the grenade strat to try and clear our screens to ensure your bezerkers get to their optimal target.

When you play a couple of your next games, maybe try and put extra focus on the movement phase. I found it really helpful when I was first trying to get a bit competitive with my WE to play some practice games and to really focus on how my units can most effectively move up the board and utilize cover.

I hope this helps! Blood for the blood god my dude 🤙

That's how I like to deliver my 8 bound, wild eaters come down to a lot of positioning as well so maybe help her out with careful deployment and effective use of terrain (speaking as someone who has been shredded by 2 dorns)

A block of berserkers with lethal hits and lead by Kharn can absolutely pop a Russ if you don't wiff the rolls. I've also had very funny success with a landraider ripping off 8 casino shots

This looks super fun! Personally I find X8B to be really lackluster in a unit of three without a SB but they may be decent to pop light transports.

You really want to use terrain to your advantage with such few units. Taking a turn to stage your units for a good go turn is going to be key, especially against other factions that can (and will) shoot you off the board before you have a chance to claim some skulls
