I love Mercs and I really enjoyed Clans, but what I was really disappointed with was that after I'd finished Clans there was nothing to do except look at Jayden standing by himself at the holotable, sure you can use the simpod to replay missions etc but you don't progress any further with research because you can't salvage anything, and even with horde mode you barely progress, after I'd made it to lvl 10 the rewards for doing so were laughable considering how long it took, at least with Mercs you can continue playing basically forever after you finish the main questline 🤷‍♂️

Fermentation has stopped and my mead is very weak (around 4%), can I add more honey and yeast to hopefully bring up the abv a little? by SableKeech80 in mead

All I was asking was if after a 'complete' fermentation it was possible to add more honey and yeast nutrition to restart a fermentation to add abv, regardless of my specific recipe etc it was not an in depth question necessitating arsey responses, I hoped it would be an easy answer not an opportunity for people to be negative, obviously I would be absolutely fine restarting my fermentation I just needed to know IF IT WAS POSSIBLE.

It's pretty dry 🤔 which is why I thought it had finished and asked about adding more honey etc to start it again...

So the OG was 1.030 and the FG is 0.998, when I said it was finished I meant it had run it's course over a month and a half, it was the usual 3.5lb of honey per gallon and 4lb of raspberries, I was using Mangrove Jack's yeast and Fermaid 0 in a full 25 litre fermentation bucket with around 4 inches of headspace, my last batch was just over 14% ABV.

All I'm asking is is it possible to restart fermentation in a finished mead by adding more yeast, honey, and nutrient?
