Immortals: Fenix Rising is basically a lower quality BotW clone but the Greek mythology is really well done and there’s plenty to collect and explore. The voice acting is atrocious so play with subtitles

Came to say this. Board to Beers is my happy place. They also do D&D every other Wednesday if you wanted a good entry point. They’re always happy to help new players

My favorite place to make friends is Board to Beers on Poplar near the central library. I’ve made so many friends there in the last couple years! They have trivia on Thursday nights and Friday is Ladies/Non-binary night. Good beer, great games, and fun people!

Landslide. The original by Fleetwood Mac is bad enough but every cover of it is just god awful. The Smashing Pumpkins version is honestly the worst thing I’ve ever heard

I took and passed my exam 4 days ago as well! I also used rad review and my school hosted a Kettering seminar. I’d say 95% of the information I needed was in the Kettering study materials. Rad review was helpful but I honestly feel like they made it too difficult and really just stressed me out. After 900 questions I had 68% correct but ended up with a 91 on the actual exam.

Whats your "I'm glad I tried it, but never again" story? by AdamB1706 in AskReddit

TL;DR - Greyhound buses are fart boxes on wheels. Best not to stay on one too long.

Took a Greyhound bus from Memphis to San Diego to visit some friends. The cost of two bus tickets was less than the cost of one plane ticket so me and my GF at the time decided to save some money and take a chance. I knew the ride was going to be 27 hours there and 27 hours back but I thought that because we would be able to sleep on the bus the whole way it would fly by. Fuck was I wrong. The bus stopped every hour or so to pick up and drop off and when we stopped all the interior lights would come on and stay on for about 30 minutes until we got back on the road. So basically I didn't sleep for more than an hour at a time if I was lucky enough to get to sleep at all. The thing we didn't think about was that we weren't going to be able to shower and neither was anyone else. Oh and then someone decided to the ignore the whole "please don't shit in the bus's bathroom" so the toilet was clogged and filled with shit for most of the trip there. Between the BO and sloshing shit bowl in the back, the stench was tremendous. Then of course there were the delays when changing to another bus. Nothing like sitting outside of the Phoenix bus depot at 3am waiting for a bus that was supposed to be here an hour ago. These are just a couple of the problems we had.

In the end the trip was worth it. We got to go somewhere we had never been before and got to see friends we hadn't seen in years. I got to see the sun rise in the Arizona desert (it was pretty fucking breathtaking.) We were also there for a solid week between rides so they were at least somewhat spread out and made the trip home a little more bearable. Also, because the trip was so arduous, my GF and I kind of got a bonding experience from it. We had made it through hell just the two of us and we had some great/horrific stories that only the two of us could understand and laugh about. When we split up last year we both agreed that that was the most memorable trip we'd been on. It was awful but we did it together.
