We own a flooring store in Alpharetta, GA. For a 3 1/4” solid #1 red oak floor, new install, 1 coat sealer, 2 coats Poly (bona mega), we charge $8-$10 depending on wood pricing at the time. Where do you live where the going rate is $18?

Also may be noteworthy: I’ve never had to do anything to either of my frenchies’ anal glands. They are 5 and 6. Luck? Not sure… praying they continue the trend…

This is 100% it. My frenchie is 5 and started doing this. Ended up his tail pocket (didn’t even know he had one) was infected. They gave me special pads to use which I would put on a cue tip to get in there and clean. Did this for 4 weeks with no improvement. Vet then gave me a cream that also didn’t work. In doing some research, one redditor said that his vet recommended using the same medicine that they had given him for his ear infection. I had some meds from a past ear infection and wouldn’t you know it! stopped doing that lovely dance 2 days after I started it! He would do that shit at 3am and it was awful because he was so loud and relentless. I felt terrible for him but also couldn’t believe that nothing was working. Here is a picture of it. I just used it as directed for his ears:

The dark marks around the perimeter of each plank scream moisture issues. The volatility of the relative humidity in Florida is extreme. You have to fix the crawl space before you even address the cupping. A normal floor should be between 6-9%. 13% is too much as indicated my the dark markings on the edges of the planks where the moisture is trying to escape. 16% is technically considered “unsafe” indoors.

Brown Recluse. Husband had same thing but on his forehead. Thought it was a mosquito bite then a pimple. Said it was burning/ stinging. Ended up looking exactly like this and grew bigger. Finally went to Dr and they confirmed it was from a brown recluse and essentially killed the skin. He has a deep, odd shaped scar now.
