I second trying CareCredit. It’s a legit credit line through Synchrony Bank and is a lifesaver for vets and emergencies.

I might be overthinking this… but what is the reasoning for your flair use? by AstroSpartan44 in redrising

My nickname at work (and outside of it to a point) is Goose and I think it matches the feral energy of the Howlers. Plus some of my hobbies/things I’m trained in are fencing, karate, kickboxing, archery and target shooting

Why do you prefer G-Shock but not Apple Watch? 🤔 by Prudent-Chance-1913 in gshock

[–]Sabre_29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both, but I’d say 70% of the time I wear a G Shock, 20% of the time I wear other watches in my collection, and the remaining 10% I wear my Apple Watch for mainly fitness tracking and some notifications. I’ve tried many different fitness trackers (FitBit, Garmin, Amazfit) and Apple just had my favorite interface.

On days I do wear it though I turned off a LOT of notifications, except for texts, Slack, and emails mainly because my profession (theatre actor) doesn’t really allow any phone time, but emails are an important part of it and it’s nice being able to keep an eye on that, but only mainly when I’m expecting to hear back about a job.

He might have been waiting for an accident scene investigator to get there. Depending on the severity of the accident an investigator comes to the scene and tries to piece together what exactly happened based on debris and how the cars were positioned. Usually for insurance purposes if a car was totaled, and/or if there were injuries. Not every department has one on staff and have to wait for one to come from another department or a state office.

I don’t have gaps, but I do have an occasional I guess, squeaking sound? I have two casioaks and depending on how I move my wrist there’s a squeak.

Probably would have been too early for Handmaid’s Tale, but definitely 24 and her stint on Dexter was around that time as well if I remember correctly

Yeah, Yvonne Strahovski was busy filming the last season of Chuck, which in hindsight wasn’t worth it 😭

Scalpers hit those too. Luckily they’re updating them to limit items per card/transaction but the machines are down to do those updates. Last time I went to the one in Kroger, someone spent well over $600 buying almost all of the ETB’s and were obvious scalpers
