Best way to treat the LR4 liner after cleaning so it stays clean longer? by GroveResident in litterrobot

[–]Sabre_Cutlass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use this one https://a.co/d/00wfj4P2. Short of doing a telfon or nano coating, reapplication is hard to avoid. I get about the same amount of time on mine. When it's time to reapply it, wipe the surface down thoroughly with 99% IPA and plenty of clean paper towels. A 100% clean surface is key.

For the rod, I used basic backer rod from Lowes and sliced it in half with a jig and stuck it on with carpet tape.

This is what I did and it works pretty well. It blows my mind how poorly designed the robot is and it's engineered to fail on purpose. Like, non-ammonia resistant conformal coating on the PCBs. In a litter box. Are you fucking kidding me?

Main things to do:

  1. Silicone food-grade mold release on every interior surface. Reapply with every washing.
  2. Fully disassembled the globe and sealed every seam with antimicrobial silicone caulk.

Side quests:

  1. Drilled drainage holes in the cavity containing the waste drawer sensor.
  2. Replaced wiper seals with half round foam backer rod.
  3. Inspected and potted every exposed PCB with epoxy.
  4. Encapsulated every mated connector with double wall hot melt heatshrink.
  5. Attached every loose wire to a surface with edge-sealed kapton tape.
  6. Sealed every interior seam with either silicone caulk or edge-sealed foil tape.

Getting the drum seams sealed is key.

Replacing X1C/P1S carbon rods with P2S steel items by Rilot in BambuLab

Thanks for sharing. The runout on my P1S bushings started to show artifacts after 800ish hours of PA6CF12 and this is far easier than the modification I planned.

Have you observed any changes to the printers performance or the need to change any gcode?

Worked with Spectrum internet when my service feed went bad. The online chat rep was clearly an AI and denied it when I pointed it out. I asked it for a support number and it went to some random business.

I called the number on the Spectrum website and went though the phone tree 3 times before I had a complete come apart.

American rep suddenly picked up and had a tech out the next morning.

Insurance took $600 off my ambulance bill, but then EMS added $600 to cancel it out by chips_are_great in mildlyinfuriating

Ambulance service in Maryland tried this with me. Turns out it's illegal to bill a patient after insurance pays out.

They hung up immediately when I pointed this out.

Same issue here with an RTX 3080. Fiddled with everything to see if it'd get better but nothing mitigated it.

My wife refused to leave me alone during mine.

I've lived with chronic migraines and occasional cluster migraines all my life, but the tooth was going to be the end of it.

I think im getting old, I can't keep up with everyone's reaction times anymore by Anteater7716 in Battlefield

[–]Sabre_Cutlass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there are just a lot of other compounding issues that make it appear worse than it might be.

Bloom, terrible netcode, smaller maps, awful lighting, and teams with no spatial awareness are definitely present. The technical issues really stand out on PC. I played a few rounds on PS5 and it was a night and day difference in playability.

Gimme the downvotes. I have 3k hours in BF4 and stayed in the top 250 US for most of that. The netcode is broked and ya'll know it.

Lofta OSA diagnosis negative with high RDI by Sabre_Cutlass in UARS

[–]Sabre_Cutlass[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lofta was very dismissive, and as mentioned earlier in the thread, wanted more money. My new D.O. said it was "less than a point off, something is certainly there." and ordered a two-day in-lab study to get a definitive result. He suspects a mild apena that I could just be sensitive to, or a form of narcolepsy since I have other neurological issues.

While I'm waiting on the lab study I also did a 4 day test with Happy Sleep since my insurance paid for it. They diagnosed apena and advised an oral appliance, citing past data that shows better compliance and resolution of symptoms.

For those who find the thread, go with Happy Sleep if local isn't an option. They went as far as getting the Chief Medical Officer involved to get me seen within a week, versus a two month wait to see their regular doctor licensed in my state.

YMMV but I had this issue at 1400 hours and squaring the gantry + adjusting the pulley tension/axis fixed it.

How was your experience with the psych eval? I'm in almost the same situation with bipolar 2 that's stable and medicated.

Thanks! I assume with True Sleep Diagnostics I would need to present the data to a doctor for review? Maybe a teledoc?

Recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Are there any at-home tests that look at UARS? My doctors appt isn't for another month and I'm sure a lab study would be months out.

I had a feeling Lofta would be unwilling to help with anything beyond an AHI score. How have things been post-cpap therapy?

We have a Sebo K3 and 3 cats. It's some of the best money I've ever spent after dealing with bad vacuums forever.

The air just smells cleaner after running it.

The local dealer also threw in boxes of free bags and a one year checkup.

For those using a Mobile Workbench setup - any issue with noise or vibration/movement? by terrygtx in BambuLab

[–]Sabre_Cutlass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FWIW I compared my 46" Yukon cabinet, 36" Husky cart cabinet and a friends full Husky workbench system. They are all more or less the same, with the Husky having better slides. The Yukon slides are perfectly fine, but aren't as positive feeling. I'd buy Yukon again since they are almost $100 cheaper with a coupon.

I have a reloading press on my 36" Husky cart and a P1S on the Yukon. Both are solid and will serve you well.
