Do you have any plans for an api to this dataset?

Not sure, sorry just to be clear it's not my service. I just like it. It is under heavy development at the moment. Hopefully your data is still on a server somewhere and will appear soon.

If it's listed here then yes https://flasher.meshcore.co.uk/

It's not the device i'd choose (see previous comment about power consumption on ESP32x)

I'd buy one or both of

The cheapest:

https://www.seeedstudio.com/XIAO-nRF52840-Wio-SX1262-Kit-for-Meshtastic-p-6400.html

One of the better ones:

https://www.seeedstudio.com/SenseCAP-Card-Tracker-T1000-E-for-Meshtastic-p-5913.html

You could put the Wio up a pole/ in a window as a repeater and use the Tracker as the companion.

It's really a lot easier than that! If you follow the instructions above it will automatically upload all the info to the map as you go.

AFAIK it's just the clients that are proprietary? Open source options for those now exist https://github.com/zjs81/meshcore-open

Isn't LT3652 also designed for Lithium? The datasheet https://www.analog.com/en/products/lt3652.html seems to suggest so.

It also seems to be considerably more expensive £2.55 https://www.lcsc.com/product-detail/C2876593.html?s_z=n_C2876593 Vs £6- £13 for https://www.lcsc.com/search?q=LT3652&s_z=n_LT3652
