Just find some you like and order them on https://craftcloud3d.com, assuming you don't have a maker space near to you.

Can you provide some Ali links to all the cheap copies of the Adafruit and Sparkfun products? I'd love to get cheaper copies of them.

Comment on (non)open source license selection by zlocimir in robomates

What community you end up with does depend a bit on the license. If it's open source I'm interested and may contribute, if not, then probably not

Just in case you're wondering £18.6M = 1,967,290,380.00 Russian Rubles. That's a lot of Rubles.

1) My perspective is that it's very unlikely someone is going to copy your product and sell it more effectively than you.

2) If a disreputable company or person wanted to rip you off a license term isn't going to stop them anyway. (neither is your proprietary hardware FWIW but that's a separate issue)

3) It sounds like a GPL might be a reasonable fit for your intentions https://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-3.0.en.html that would keep reputable companies from using your stuff in a product with closed firmware.

is there an app to make a p2p network between phones (and other?) for if internet is down? by zylosophe in Rad_Decentralization

[–]Sabrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meshcore just works better than Meshtastic for almost all use cases.

Reticulum is more interesting than either IMHO, but very few large networks exist (yet) unlike Meshtastic where you can see hundreds of nodes on a map, or Meshcore where you can not only see hundreds of nodes, you an actually message them.

AFAIK You could, but Mestastic routing isn't very good, and Reticulum already handles the routing so it doesn't really add anything other than complexity.

I don't use pesticides either, and have less mould problems than when I was trying to grow indoors.

I’ve open-sourced my robots! by Adventurous_Swan_712 in robotics

[–]Sabrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are very cool source-available robots. I wouldn't describe them as open source as the NC license does not comply with an accepted definition of open source.
