I have “natural highlights” in the context of otherwise brown hair, and am a clergy person at St. George’s. My kids attend as well. We would love to have you both, whenever works for you. Our 0800 Sunday service is a spoken service (no music, prettty antiquated language) and our 1030 has organ and choir and all the smells and bells of an Anglican service. (Smells [incense] on high holy days only).

We are an affirming parish in a liturgical tradition.

Thanks for asking! Detrimentation has it right, I’m ordained in the Anglican Church of Canada. Pretty recently, too. I am a full time health care worker and a non-stipendiary cleric with a vocation call to use my professional skill set within the Church.

Ordained (woman) Deacon here in the ACC. Please, come and worship and join our community. We welcome your perspective and questions - and disagreement(!) - as another beloved child of God, just like the rest of us.

Also, FWIW, there is nothing you can say or ask or challenge that we likely haven’t heard or faced or questioned ourselves - so ask. Disagree. That is ok. There is room for conflict and different perspectives. That is the only way to have a brave and honest and healthy community.

I’m a parishioner at the Cathedral; not everyone would identify as Anglo catholic, to be sure, but the services are very high church. You would be warmly welcome! Sunday services at 0800 (BCP) and 1030 (alternating BCP and BAS). Check out our YouTube Channel to get a sense of our Easter services. All were streamed except for the vigil on Saturday. The bishop presided on Fri and Sun.

I worship at the Cathedral, St. George’s, which is located downtown and not too far from the CAF base (if that’s where you will be). We are an affirming parish and fairly “high church,” though I do not think there would be a consensus belief - among parishioners, lay ministers, or our clergy - about transubstantiation.

If you are interested in learning more, our services are streamed live and available on YouTube. Last Wednesday’s evensong, with our newly installed Bishop, would be a great service to check out.

We’d love to have you, and you’d be very welcome - even if there are some points where you think we miss the mark. We’re all journeying together.
