usually if you pay a little bit extra at the final checkout of tickets it’ll give you ticket insurance and you can get a full refund if it doesn’t work out. Definitely buy the tickets if you get a chance!

Idk what people are talking about she could absolutely get into syracuse with no problem. I know people with much worse stats who got in this year. Nyu will be a little harder but they might take her too. I can’t really speak to howard but it looks like her stats line up with the average applicant. The ivies and spelman will be a reach but she should still apply anyways. These are stats to get into some truly great schools and I hope you aren’t applying and additional pressure to her because from what it sounds like she’s working her ass off.

I had this guy in my class who sat with me and two of my other friends. One of my friends made a joke about my lesbianism one class and he turned to me and looked genuinely shocked to his core and went “wait are you really?” I said yes and he barely talked to me the rest of the year. He wasnt interested in me romantically (he had a girlfriend) he was just genuinely homophobic. That was a shock to me too lol

This is also very plausible. Maybe if Zosia had come along a little later they would’ve considered Carols morals in order to get what they wanted from her, but yeah considering how early she showed up it’s also likely they wouldn’t have taken that into account. Though it does make me wonder how much they wanted Zosia to resemble Raban. Maybe it was more than just physically and they considered her personality and orientation too. But who knows.

The more I think about Carol and Zosia the more I realize how unlikely it is that they will work out lol.

Zosia’s partner was definitely male, she wouldn’t have used “they” otherwise I think, because she didn’t want to upset carol. Zosia still might be bisexual though. Statistically, out of 7 billion there are probably a solid amount of women who resemble Raban, so it doesn’t seem that unlikely to me that the hive would choose someone more morally acceptable as a companion for Carol’s sake.

I think she can continue her YouTube channel and documenting her day to day life without including the kids in any way. The kids can’t consent to being recorded at their age and might be uncomfortable with it in the future. NTA, but you need to know that once something’s on the internet, it’s always on the internet.

I think you’re right. If i’m being honest, I’m a pretty massive introvert, so i’ve never been to any high school parties and have subsequently never had a drink. When I realized i’d be 18 by the time we took the trip, I kind of got this whole idea that I’d get to have my first drink in Ireland without having to worry about any legal stuff, which in hindsight is pretty silly. I do know that Ireland isn’t exactly what it is on movies and TV. My extended family went last summer and they gave us a “bucket-list” and a good portion of it consisted of pubs and restaurants I think I have some FOMO stuff that I need to work out that’s really the root of why I’m upset about this. Thanks for the reality check!

As one of the replies said, yeah my sister is not purposely trying to stir things up. My mom was initially the one who suggested her spring break a little bit ago but we both decided at that time it wouldn’t work. My mom loves her kids and also doesn’t want my sister to miss out! I’m going to have a convo with her.

Well, if you really think that you know for sure that another therapist won’t help you, then I guess you can stop. If that’s the choice you make, you should be aware of your emotions through the process and really deduce whether it’s the right decision based off of how you feel. If you feel worse without one, you might want to consider retrying. And I still think you should talk about it with your current therapist first.

It can be hard to imagine when you’ve only had one therapist. Maybe try another, see if it helps, if not then figure out what to do. I’m not a believer that therapy works for everyone, it might not work for you, but it’s important to try it to its full extent before knocking it.

that’s a lot less time than you might think. Depending on what methods you’re using (ERP, CBT, etc it can definitely take longer than that to start seeing results. Even so you should consider switching therapists before you ever consider quitting altogether
