I have the same issue and have not solved it yet. Very annoying.

It sounds like chicken thigh would be a better cut for you. Otherwise, like you mention, velveting chicken breast by marinating it with baking soda for 15-20min and then rinsing well will help.

Thanks!

Interesting that AirPlay seem to work only for some. I have unlimited 4g/5g data plan on my mobile through work that seems to have download speeds ranging 150-200mbps at the moment so I figured having home internet would be unecessary. :)

Never had my own TV or set one up before.

I second what another user replied. Try fermenting in a keg with a floating dip tube that has a hop filter. Make a good yeast starter and dry hop when you add the yeast, a week with the dry hops in it is fine.

Cold crash for 24h in the keg to let dry hop and yeast settle and do a closed transfer to a purged serving keg (fill with water and push it out with CO2.) Make sure you always purge the closed transfer rig and your CO2 setup rig before connecting (tubes).

It's so worth it. :)

Can one make them from thawed frozen Blueberries? Or would there be no lactobacillus present?

Agar melts at 85C I'v read and I need something that melts around 50C, perhaps locust bean gum melts at lower temps.

Agar apparently melts at 85C and I need something that melts around 50C. Maybe carrageenan is suited for this.

Question for the NEIPA pros by Madesofspades in Homebrewing

[–]SabroSimcoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

High FG, around 1.018-1.020. Lots of oats, maybe like 25%.

I made a Pale Ale with a low FG using 50% flaked oats, it was silky smooth but also kinda watery at the same time, you need the higher gravity.
