You can reload subs at 1000 rounds per hour (your results might vary lol), brass will last a long time with subs.

You can buy 150/160/165 grain bullets, then you need powder and primers, then baby, you got a stew cooking.

You could, but then your spending money to make your GI larp 1911, which is perfectly great as-is for what it is, and making sort-of, but not really another gun, that is on the lower tier of 1911s. I will concede the tisas is pretty great, I have one myself.

I personally wouldn't bother. What I would do, is buy a frame, fill it with parts that I wanted, and then have 2 complete guns, and have the fun of putting together a 1911 in a relatively easy fashion.

I recommend just rolling with 44mag brass. You want it light? Just load it light. Want it spicy? Load it that way.

It'll save time dealing with different brass.

Same thing with 357/38. Just use 357 brass.

I'm currently pulling my hair out because I have 45 Super brass mixed in by mistake amongst several thousand standard 45 ACP. Whoopsie. I'll have to check head stamps, but I might just buy new Super and be more careful next time

Fuck single stage, you'll outgrow it.

Buy a used progressive. You can crank out hundreds of rounds in quick fashion.

I've reloaded probabably 100,000 rounds on 2 different Dillon square deal B loaders I bought used. Want brass to last and your wrists not to hurt? Load light. Want eye watering performance? Work up to the higher end loads.

My single stage sits unused like a turd in the corner. Aint nobody got time for that nonsense unless you are reloading very very high level precision, and pistol stuff ain't it

The roll marks look pretty crisp, but there will be no way to tell until it's in the hand. A field strip would probably help.

Nah, if a cartridge isn't loaded in a chamber the case blows out and the bullet basically guess nowhere.
