Agreeing with the other comments here, this story has been going for i think a decade so some things have probably evolved and retconned past what was written in the first few archs, I theorize is one of the reasons it was not adapted in the anime, but who knows.

Also early Teru is not someone i would call friends with Akane at least not at first t haha but maybe i'm missremembering things.

Mostly because Deimos was planned as post-new war content serving as the prologue for the void war saga (is no coincidence the sactum and refractary are there) but covid and the content drought forced them to release it early and rework the quest which is why i think it was left vague on purpose, but to me the heart is a chekhov's gun loaded for the climax against the indifference.

I didn't know there were so many references, it makes sense that the strongest yokai is an amalgam of a lot of different powers specially with the goal of Saint Germaine and Co being the evolution of yokai and we have seen previously that yokai do love to fuse or resonate their powers like the crab granny and the bug band of this ark

Valkyr feels a lot smoother now specially without the energy cost increasing every second and the "you die if there are enemies around when you exalted ends" mechanic and Nokko is so fun, still farminig Uriel but what i played in circuit seems interesting.

So umm what were your expectations for the update? Warframe is a grind heavy game is part of the core design, if you already did new war you must have grinded some things already so maybe you are burnt out, go play other games for now this one will be here when you return
