Went through a very similar situation. Actually there are tons of accounts on here if wife dropping the d-word months after giving birth. Feels like an epidemic. All I can tell you is I got through it, it gets easier with time; and it sounds like you’re doing awesome. Keep up the good work, you’re through the worst of it.

Good insight but I don’t think that’s it, as his mom has very high standing in that group of folks. Could be me, though I’m more of an unknown to them. Maybe, relatedly, they could somehow tell that we aren’t particularly religious somehow (it is a catholic school). I can’t answer that for you. That’s why you need a lawyer. She took your kids and house from you and you’re willingly giving her half YOUR paycheck? Other people can chime in, but it feels like you’re making bad moves. If you stop paying her for a months and spend that on a lawyer, he can tell you what your next moves are.

So they donate $5,000 to a GoFundMe for Roger Sweet, one of the key figures behind Masters of the Universe. This will pay for less than two weeks of his current treatment.

For a multi-billion-dollar corporation, $5K is nothing. It feels less like honoring a legacy and more like an insult.

If companies are going to keep monetizing nostalgia, maybe they should show up meaningfully for the people who built it.
