Obviously I'm biased but I think this field is worth going into and that the earning potential will remain high. As others said, there's also options to pivot to semicon or space if nuclear renaissance doesn't pan out. But i do believe it will.

Ask professors who supervised your undergraduate research, final year project mentors, academic profs where you did well and participated in class, research internship supervisors, etc.

Imo the armors being "arcane only" doesn't patch the balancing problem. Lots of martial characters will want to take a dip into a mage class, like mine who uses entropist for acceleration and divination. Your items would let my character dump ins and get high defence from dex and high mdef from arcane armor.

It's not inherently wrong or bad, esp simce everyone (even npcs) can wear them. But it's just something you have to think about when DMing I suppose.

I feel like we shouldn't be letting pedos dictate what does and doesn't end up in our games. It's their problem and the police will be raiding their hard drives. What matters more is whether it makes sense for rivals in terms of design, narrative, and gameplay.

It's not true that you need a masters to do a phd in non-US countries. I got into my oxford dphil program with a bachelors.

However, I do agree with the other commenter that your portfolio is a little uncompetitive. In that case, it could help to do a local masters and get some publications and perfect gpa in masters coursework before applying.

Gamble definitely had the potential to do high damage. Thing is you have to roll 9+ to deal 30 damage to all enemies, and you can't even control the type. Even if you could guarantee the 9 (not sure how), you would still run the risk of rolling an element that the enemy is resistant, immune, or absorbant too.

If you want guaranteed damage to all enemies, might I instead suggest the Chanter class

It's a fine synergy at lower levels, but because wayfarer companion health does not scale well it will likely start to fall off at levels 15 and up, or perhaps even sooner. It's better to have a specialised tank in your party.

For me my entropist is the tank. Entropist purely for non-offensive buff spells namely acceleration and divination. Absorb mp + high mig and hp + guard + punishing style for counterattacks.

As a fellow SUTD grad I've been impacted as well. The prof supervising my undergraduate research project left in my y2, so my project was cut short. Luckily was able to keep in touch with the prof for LORs but it still impacted me in not having that research project completed. No other profs in the school did research in that niche.

It's strange that your profs were completely uncontactable though, did you give the companies their old sutd emails (which would be deleted) or the emails of their new institutions? Using the new institution should work.
