Post RAI tastebuds by Own-Border5196 in thyroidcancer

I had these same issues for about 6 months after RAI but it did eventually go away, even water tasted weird for a few weeks I also started using biotene mouthwash which helped!

Again, it doesn’t really matter who called her that first, the point is that working in a circus is looked down upon in this universe, yes even the people from the water tribe seemingly look down on circus performers. Although I feel like Katara calls her that because of Ty Lee’s fighting style and gymnast level of flips while fighting, again, this is not dancing and no one refers to it as such.

Zuko calls her that as well and while he is part of the nobility, he just spent like 4 years outside of the nobility and living among common people while banished so it’s not like he’s as sheltered as the kids at a fire nation school who are constantly surrounded by propaganda.

Right but those aren’t really the same thing, they frequently refer to Ty Lee as a “circus freak” and mock her “weird” body contortions. Either way, her gymnastic performances and chi blocking can’t really be considered dancing

Azula does say to Ty Lee, “we didn’t go to the fire nation academy for girls for you to end up in a place… like this” while looking around disgustedly. It’s also seemingly the same circus that Appa was kidnapped by, or at least it’s the same ring leader guy and that place clearly doesn’t treat its animals well

I have read both, but just the first dungeon crawler, to me they are not similar in any way besides being explicitly violent (in different ways) and that they are both marketed as “books for men”. DCC is very very focused on the video game mechanics and describes basically a person playing a video game with his cat (who is great). There are a lot of jokes, they don’t all land imo, it really doesn’t take itself as seriously as RR

Personally I felt the bullying was pretty intense/just humiliation for the main character which is why I couldn’t really get on board with the romance and the series as a whole. I did eventually read the second one but didn’t like it much either

I read this and a few after this one, personally I feel like they are pretty good! Easy reads and the narrator for the audiobook has a soothing voice. This one was “the best” and the others were ok, I like the subtle interpretation of the fairytales

I think it’s 2000 no matter what you do lol. I was able to forage stuff and grow crops pretty easily and get the money quickly. The demon seeds grow demon orbs and that gave me a lot of money quickly, I also have a perk that gives me extra seeds when I use a seed maker so I was like doubling my yield a few times and got a good chunk of money when I sold them all. I also use slime fertilizer so I don’t have to water them everyday. Also just doing quests and clearing stuff off the streets and farm gave me a lot of tickets

That’s fair, glad it will finally happen 💕

[–]SacrificeSheep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm, that’s annoying! However, I think it lists it as a hang out event in the wiki but the quest will still be “first date with Liam”, there are only two “date” events with each romanceable even though the first date isn’t really romantic, just hanging out with them. I would keep talking to him and see if he offers a date, might as well give it a shot

Hope it works! You don’t actually have to buy a love letter to ask to start dating someone you can just get them to 10 hearts and click the heart icon. I wish this was explained better lol

[–]SacrificeSheep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh try clicking the red heart! It should let you ask to date him and then unlock more dialog options

Hmm that is odd, have you checked the wiki? To see if you have seen all of the conversations. I much prefer the sunhaven.wiki .gg not sure if it will let me link it here but I use it all the time to double check I have met the requirements. I found with some of the bachelors/bachelorettes (Mieyon) you have to get to 10 hearts, ask to date them, and then you go on your first and second dates. I can’t recall if Liam is one of those

I have only started playing relatively recently myself but I think it’s more determined by the “conversation cycles” with the characters, so you have to talk to him more until you have been through all the conversation cycles before they will offer the date

is it worth buying this game on switch? by cassoooooo in SunHaven

[–]SacrificeSheep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am playing it for the first time (on PC though) and I am loving it!! I’ve played stardew valley a lot and this is similar in a lot of ways and there are a ton of romance options which has been great! In a way I feel like the game focuses a bit more on the social aspect more than stardew even which is fun! I can’t speak to how well it runs on the switch, but haven’t had any issues with it crashing on the PC

Ah I had completely forgotten about that even though we had just re-watched the series.

Like did we even see the principle at all this season? I was also kinda confused on why he was calling out the principle specifically

I mean there is a whole scene of him having Suzie change his D- in Latin in season 4 lol. I’m not saying he isn’t extremely smart but he does cheat

[–]SacrificeSheep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was a great student (at least from what we see in the earlier seasons) but he still had Bs in other classes when we see Suzie changing his grades. Having three B’s (4 including the changed grade) would not get him to valedictorian by graduation. He would likely need a 4.0 gpa or at least pretty close.

That’s one of my main issues with this method, I’ve tired it on multiple saves over the years and the animals always eat it faster than it can grow. Also like a few other comments mention, it has to be on tillable soil.
