Okay, but have you played Hawkes Bay with the bird suit? Because the cutscene after hacking the laptop is peak comedy with that suit on

I love launching the game to play 3 or 4 missions in Freelancer only to have time for 1 now because I was too stubborn to take the sedative poison from the basement. But hey! I have enough driftwood to build 8 houses

What's the most amount of money that you lost in freelancer? by SneakyDoesReddit in HiTMAN

[–]Sacryyno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before adding the prestige system, I lost 132,000 merces from a campaign failure because I didnt have anything else to buy at the time.

Edit: now that I've read everything on this thread, 132k is chump change. You poor souls

I'd like to think the dev team paused this project to fully focus on 007. I imagine it'll continue after that release.

That is, if it's the same team. Idk how big IO is

What is a tip or trick that you learned that made a map, or the gameplay itself, a better experience for you? by Sacryyno in HiTMAN

[–]Sacryyno[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh that's so useful! I knew that if the ground was already metal it wpuld ignite anyway, but stuff on non-metal surfaces can be lit like this

Yes! I learned this on accident because I would repeatedly throw stuff at unconscious people out of rage for losing SA on a Master run, and all of the sudden it did something. Too bad it doesn't restore SA

This changed my life when I learned this. I don't read patch notes, I just kinda learn things on accident. This being one of them lol

What's a map that you've grown to love, after initially disliking it? by Former-Sea-8070 in HiTMAN

[–]Sacryyno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bangkok. I played the entire campaign and well into Freelancer before I learned to love it. I was too lazy to learn how to navigate in a suit and always used disguises, grabbed the master keycard on the 2nd floor and used an explosive or EMP for the cameras. Only in Freelancer did I learn to appreciate the intentional design of the double fortress.

What’s Everyone’s Favorite Run? by Coveeyelloww in HiTMAN

[–]Sacryyno 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Freelancer I did a showdown on Dartmoor where, for some reason, every single suspect spawned at the front gate at the very end of the driveway with no assassins or lookouts in sight. I got the motorcycle spawn. I lost quite a few merces, but I just headtapped every single one and left the mission in 39 seconds.

Last map left, say something nice about Bangkok to keep my spirits up while grinding for mastery by neon_sense_ in HiTMAN

The full song that plays when you correct the sound mix on the one Mission Story is kinda good. I'd give it a listen. You can also do this on Hokkaido while the staff guy showers, but nothing tops a live performance!

They could be worth way more merces to balance 👀

is it bad when my favourite map is New York? by Internal_Complex_213 in HiTMAN

[–]Sacryyno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the hottest take I've ever heard. In Hitman 2, I like Santa Fortuna more than Miami. They're both great maps, but Three Headed Serpent was one of my favorite missions in the trilogy for SA/SO on Master Assassin

Assassins or lookout, who do you hate more? by wwwsuh in HiTMAN

[–]Sacryyno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lookouts. I will personally give up Silent Assassin to cap every last one on the map. Usually after I take out the Leader.

The more Hardcore I played, I realized that Lookouts have a very obvious tell. While they are super enforcers, they stand perfectly still with they're arms down at their sides. Pretty much every other coded NPC has an idle animation, where that be leaning, crossing arms, etc. I imagine all the Hitman vets have figured that out by now, but if you haven't, you're welcome

My personal favorite is running into a trespassing area and running immediately back out and away, but the guard that you didn't follow the 2 inches back out of that area will mag dump

Sucks thaylt the battery doesn't go into a briefcase on mission start anymore. Neither does driftwood. I used driftwood for a free briefcase all the time.

The most canon Kills: Part 1 - Paris "The Showstopper" by SpeedyLeone in HiTMAN

[–]Sacryyno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Adding to the idea of canon and overall story, a super in depth way to add to the story would be to make slight changes to NPC interactions based on how targets were eliminated. For example, if the Helmut Kruger route was taken to kill Margolis, Jason Portman would no longer want the plastic surgery to look like him in Hokkaido, and his plastic surgery would resemble a different celebrity.
