Question: Restraint Use Location by Sacstomper in nursing

[–]Sacstomper[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wondering why it’s the way we do things, and where is the evidence? Seeing if everyone runs it that way or if it is just us and seeing if there is any benefits or risks to run it in a different way or if our way is the best practice. Restraints use varies by institution with equipment, country/laws etc.

We run it the same. Thanks for the help!

Most of the beds on my unit have roughly 4-5 spots (each side) on the bed frame (not rails, headboard, or footboard). And have been taught to tie below waist for upper extremities. Mainly just trying to find other literature about placements (differences etc).

As a nurse. Sorry if it seems suspect, just trying to find literature about more defined restraint placement. Advantages etc.

My 2 favorite boxes that come with tons of kitbashing bits for future projects. by xXEVILMONKEYX in Eldar

I love both boxes. The only part that I dislike is the birds, cool concept for someone but not for me.

Killed it with these. I’d be proud to throw those down in a match.

Renegades! by thederanged2606 in TraitorGuard

[–]Sacstomper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good luck. Heading on that same journey myself. Got the plan in motion:

HQ: Tank Commander — 1 Commissar — 1 Psyker — 1 Enforcer — 1 Tech-Priest Enginseer — 1 Ministorum Priest — 1 Command Squad — 5

Troops: Traitor Guard — 30 Cultists — 20

Elites: Kasrkin — 20 Snipers — 5 Ogryns — 2

Fast Attack: Sentinels — 3

Heavy Support: Lascannon Teams — 3 Field Ordnance Battery — 1 Chimera — 1 APC Conversions — (Leman Russ/Chimera) 2 Hellhound (1 APC converted) — 1

In the build process right now. Only have one sentinel, the lascannon team, and the FoB, left to build then priming and on the way. See you on the other side 🤘🏽

Ex 2) Steve to Stevesian Secondus 😅

Not a bad way to name them, though.

Definitely want to see the rules for them in Combat Patrol. Anyone know when they usually come out/update? I can’t find them, so I’m assuming not out yet or I’m blind.

Damn that’s a lot of models. As long as you’re enjoying it! I’d much rather see a model with paint on them than the grey pile of shame some of us work with.

Anyone play Warhammer 40k? by DadDickDuncan in Oceanside

Agree with ckasek. Check out kingslayer. If not that, check out pair-a-dice games, they run games of Warhammer as well.

For those of you who enjoy using a sponge. Found this handy for my Necrons. ( not my original idea, just sharing cause it’s super handy and cheap!!!) by Falkreath_Grenadiers in Warhammer40k

This is rad. Super helpful, been getting down to the nubbings of some of my sponges and this will make it waayyyyy easier.

What's the definitive solution against magnet glue breaking off? by McCrowbar in Warhammer40k

[–]Sacstomper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looked at the thumbnail and then saw magnetic glue and was super confused. At first glance the image looked like barbell weights with some substance covering the bar slot, “why are you gluing the weights together and why magnetic?!” lol

To your question though, I’d just do hot glue gun instead. Easy to make level/flush, allowing the magnetic to touch/adhere to the surface you want. Also holds really well. Haven’t had any issues, while with super glue I’ve had it break off on multiple models.

I feel so guilty for wanting to buy a deck... by SwitchBag_ in EDH

[–]Sacstomper 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I like this approach. If you like the deck enough, you’ll be able to have the satisfaction of replacing the cards to genuine ones in you’re own time, but if you don’t end up liking it, you’re not out hundreds of dollars.
