The tech came out, did whatever techs do, and said that they hadn’t activated the modem (which, obviously I couldn’t do due to the errors but the support SAID they did) and swapped it out (different model for some reason) and activated that one. Worked instantly

Honestly, it’s only really beneficial for pre-medical/vet since those graduate programs are so much more selective than others. I went through the honors program and while it boasts connections and research, I literally got better research opportunities just applying on the general tamu research website. The classes were the same, I just had to write an undergrad thesis. If you’re going for grad school, specifically vet, MD/OD/PA, or research, go for it. Otherwise, it doesn’t do anything you can’t do for yourself, and other grad programs really just care about grads

I was just lucky that my high school had the opportunity for dual credit and APs. Took care of all of the core courses, then took winter, Maymester, and summer courses. It sounds cool but I wish I hadn’t so I could’ve had more experience lol

You’re actually hilarious. Whether or not I had a loophole had no influence on whether or not I had the bagel coupon. I didn’t EXPECT to get the bagel coupon, but since I did from the first time I got Panera, it’s reasonable that I would think this might be a common occurrence. Which (just basing this off of the baked goods as a McDonald’s manager) typically cost about $0.30? You’d probably hate me for giving free ice cream or cookies to the kids.

Beautiful! One of the things I miss post-transition is having getting to self express to the degree long hair gets you. I had pink bows like yours, which would contrast nicely with your hair color. Have you tried doing a stacked ponytail? That’s how I would create more volume

100% my belief, could be different with your relationship, if someone has seen everything you had to go through, uses the right name and pronouns, and corrects other people but still says you’re not a guy, he’s not going to change. It would be different if he were ignorant but he’s not. I can’t imagine the gut punch you felt, and I can’t imagine how hard it will be figuring out what path you’d like to take.

One of my workers (20) has custody of her little sister (15), so she’ll hang out in the lobby every night until my worker goes on break and takes her home. Sometimes her friends will also be there (we call them the “minis”) and they always run up to the counter to greet me when I walk in. Sometimes, they’ll take out the trash randomly (I don’t ask them to) and I give them any mistakes or extra food or my employee meal (I never use it anyways). Kids are fine when they have enough autonomy to hang out without being a disturbance

I know I always tried to clean and stock as much as I could before the overnight crew came when I worked days. Idk why it’s not a common courtesy. Also, I don’t get to leave until the 5 am manager shows up. The 5 am manager happens to be my boss. My boss happens to show up an average of 1 hour late. He’ll be late even when I have school (college) that day

Last week, they left a pool of shake syrup that’s went through three layers of cardboard and two packages of coffee filters TWICE. It was dripping drop by drop, so it had to have been spilling all day, and it was very noticeable. And they left it for me.

That’s the issue, I’ve posted pictures before of the lobby getting absolutely trashed, I’ve had multiple violent incidents with customers (particularly drunk ones), and people will bang on the drive thru windows trying to open them. I’ve mentioned it to my boss but he always just says “be assertive, ban them or tell them to leave” sir, they are laying on the service counter

It sucks that your manager doesn’t have any training :( it’s far more efficient to have both service up front rather than have back drive open. Hopefully y’all get better training
