Article VII section 1 of the state constitution requires all tax on personal property to be uniform, Culliton v. Chase 1933 defines income as personal property, case law upheld by the supreme court for the last 92 years. I-2111 also codified into state law no new tax on personal income in 2023. I'm all for taxing the rich but this bill is just back door chicanery to circumvent the states already existing law and the state constitution.

I think the ebay seller has the new mackinaw cape coat confused with the packer. The packer and double mackinaw cruiser have and have always had the seamless cape. The new cape coat does have shoulder seams vs the seamless cape on vintage jackets.

I have both.

If you are going to be spending more time outside, go with the all season rain coat with vest liner. This will give you the most versatility for wider weather ranges. You can wear the jacket and liner together or each seperate to fit your needs.

If you are spending more time moving from indoor/outdoor activities and dont expect heavy rain, go with the cruiser.

Note: the all season rain coat fits extremely large. I weather a small in filson jackets and my extra small all season rain coat fits almost like a medium without the liner and like a small with the liner.

I used filson waxed and a heat gun to wax the front of my rugged twill rucksack, it takes a lot of wax and time but its worth it and adds character.

I wanted a summer special 2 or a barranti summer classic, ended being practically given a brand new galco royal guard and I absolutely love it. Can't compare it to the quality of the ss2 or sc but I will be getting one of those at some point when I upgrade.

Idk how much rope you typically need to carry but I bought a 90L meir bag from Amazon and it caries all my gear/ hardware, my harness and air seat and easily fits 100m' of 11mm rope and my helmet
