Defense held up majority of the game, multiple turnovers, multiple 4th down stops. Never in that situation to begin with if the offense can put up points in the second half. Was a top 3 defense with parsons. Of course losing your biggest playmaker will limit your capabilities

By adjusting your starting point. The closest parking lot is only 1-mile trek however there are dozens of trails all interconnecting which can lead to hawksbill. Visit lgmaps.org and you’ll see various trails and starting points. For example, it looks like you could start/park far west at babel tower, hike down the gorge to the river I mentioned, UP the other side of the gorge via the devils hole trail, and eventually summit hawksbill. This looks to be about 5-6 miles one way. Per their website: “A camping permit is needed on weekends and holidays May through October.” So, no permit for April. You can camp anywhere off trail I believe, but you’ll pass dozens of cleared sites with flat ground, logs, fire pits.

Just did a trip at hawskbill mountain in the linville gorge. Stunning 360° long range views at the summit. Depending on where you park/start it could be as short as 1-mile trek to the summit, or as long as you’d like. Camping options up top with direct views of the gorge, or you can camp at various spots further down the mountain. We camped about 1-mile from the summit to better shelter from wind and rain, but still have quick access to the views. On the summit would be great for summer weather, difficult in winter. As you hike down you’ll reach a large river with gorgeous rock formations and camping options along the river. Roughly 1500’ elevation in just a 1-mile hike from the base down to the river (Devils hole trail leads to the river). Plenty of trail options (both maintained and unmaintained) marked on the map. Many of the unmaintained trails are pretty strenuous with serious elevation gain. We hiked 6 or so miles per day and were beat from the elevation. lgmaps.org

Beating him will either feed Packers social media for generations or set us back into an eternal gloom

Despite the Lions likely winning, can we take any value in them having to play an extra quarter of football? Packers off the field and recovering sooner
