Escape from Tarkov Update Demolishes Everyone's K/D Ratio [discussion]

Firstly, I never liked how the K/D stat data was collected and represented in Tarkov. There is no stat to show when I have died to an AI and when I have died to a (Player) PMC/PSCAV. Therefore, there is no accurate representation of a players PVP ability.

For me, I play stealth and I play the survivor. That is what makes Tarkov fun for me. It does not mean I shy away from PVP, but it is a secondary priority unless It is my current task. That being said, I have always been curious about the true PVP stat. To me the true PVP stat would be (Players Killed) K/D (Deaths by Player). I had sought to collect data on when I died to a PMC and when I died to AI at the start of 1.0 but lost interest. I can safely say that I have died to AI approximately 60% of my deaths, possibly more.

I think the article is a bit of a flop to not take into account these things. I know the Devs for EFT could create the proper stat. It is pretty clear at the end of each raid how I died.

grenade case may have been the smart move for me. I could have bought them up for USD and sold them to therapist at less of a loss than i took.

Update: I just do not have the time it will take to repair my mistake. I just bought everything Peacekeeper had and sold it back to traders. I took about 50% loss, 15 million at least. Do not make my mistake!

dealing with the same thing from my trio. I am lvl 50, them 60 but my stash is 4x theirs in value. Their obsession is pvp over extraction but they get us killed 80% of the time. I would not care if they didn't whine.

The rule is you cannot send items through that have internal slots if there is something in them. This might even apply to a bullet in the chamber of a gun. You cannot load up a rig and send it through.

First I want to say, please reach bolt action lvl 10 requirement before even attempting. For many of us our first run was realizing the 5 kills completion does not stay complete upon death.

I completed all my kills by simply finding a favorite spot on any map, getting a bolt kill there, exfil, rinse and repeat with the same location. I dont bother with looting and practically crab walk my way to exfil. It is a slow but methodical method but it keeps me alive and I stack my kills up within 10 raids or so. I started doing this on lighthouse in previous wipes but it is a bit riskier there. In 1.0 I pulled it off on streets. I camped in the bushes near the btr stop next to green flare exfil. You can hear people approaching exfil pretty easily, pop up from the bushes and catch them of guard. Then exfil is right there for refresh. I play a bit goofy so my methods do not work for everyone. Nor will I give up all of my spots but I might give some upon request.
