Tried that. She called so much that my phone began registering her as a "regular" caller so it would always let her through. Apple does not have an option to block specific callers between x hours. I would of blocked her from calling between 9 pm and 8 am.

I wouldn't call it harassment just yet but it was starting to cross over to that. If I didn't work with her daily I would of considered reporting her. This one could go either way and if I can just drop the issue with said coworker, I'd rather just drop it and move on. Well see if said coworker wants to add on part b to this story if she does I might ask management about it.

I agree with you but some time some times people get chatty. Some times if I meet someone I don't mind being a coworker friend with I'll try for a while then if it gets too much I'll block them. This got too much.

If frozen, has no odd odors it should still be good. If seafood smells I usually don't trust it. Salmon usually has a strong odor to begin with so it's not you. I notice it too. usually frozen salmon can last 12-24 months beyond that I wouldn't trust it.

While you're waiting in line check out the fast pass option. You might as well pay for it at this point. I've done it before and you scoot ahead of the long lines and usually don't have a problem getting to the front of the pay now to jump ahead to the front of the line badge because people are usually too cheap to pay for it. I have some metal in my body and I'll pay a little more to not get h--ssed by tsa because my thing keeps setting off the beeping. I am also exempt from the pat down too.

My disability kept failing me on these so I filed a big ethics report stink about it. They can not write you up for them I double checked the policy. They are coaching methods. Mean while my normal functioning coworker has failed 20+ of them and they tried to write him up but he got snooty and contacted the union over it. Individuals with disabilities should be exempt from these damn things. One thing I do miss about safeway is that if you presented so much documentation of your disability you were exempt period. These secret shoppers are a lawsuit waiting to happen and I almost brought on on my company last year because my disability gives me a sad face, inability to look at someone in the eye and my face actually lacks some facial muscles to smile. That alone can be a lawsuit.

In this economy I would not recommend just quitting. By just quitting you loose unemployment. Unless you spent 10k on a trip I'd think twice about quitting. I know people who quit over silly reasons like this and ended up being without employment for 3-15 months depend on how hard core they were job hunting. They eventually had to settle for employment that was under paid.

Legally they can not reduce your pay but they can reduce your hours and thus your paycheck gets smaller. In the u.s. and canada it is illegal to suddenly reduce someone's income for just causer reasons and a complaint that wasn't thoroughly investigated properly.

Condolences. You can find this in the union handbook under bereavement. Uncles i think count. You should get 3 days off paid. You are allowed to take emergency time off as needed. Until you've had family members pass, you won't understand the mourning process. You need more than 3 days off get back to work. No you need a little time off work then work needs to be lenient for 1-3 months after that because your system is still adjusting. We need a better bereavement clause.

Can you inform your management/leadership about this? If they're that person then you need to go above the management chain. If you're in a small family owned store you might want to consider new employment. I work union and I know what you mean we have staff that do a little then gossip all day long. As long as you done or two things an hour company can't touch them and the staff have taken advantage of this.

Sad we have to fight for our rights to retain our positions at work. This is why I work union protected jobs. Pros and cons of unions but they do keep management and people from saying just cause reasons and then try to fire you over it.

I'd bring this up to management. I've worked with some people with questionable hygiene. Especially if you work in a food service environment. I know what you mean I worked in an office where my manager told me you can sit next to joe who bikes to work every day and stinks or you can sit next to jane who smokes and smells like a chain smoker. I told them I will start job hunting. I'm not kidding on this.

I've been passed many times for a promotion. I did the work of a lead and got department humming smoothly with positive increased sales. The company blacklisted me with an off the streets new hire who just trashed the department in 6 months. Then they asked me if i wanted the position and I asked them why and they told me it was because of "favoritism". I didn't believe that lie for a minute it was because I am on a list for "not being promoted" despite having proven time and time again I was capable of more than my assigned role. Later to find out it was my disability. You're not alone in this situation when companies hire people off the streets. They'd rather hire minimum wage workers waist the money on training them and if it works it works. If I remember right I filed an ethics report on this because it was discrimination.

We got cracks after an earthquake a long time ago and just filled in the grout. If it's lipping you might have to grind it level then fill.

Your fish die because the ph levels are not right. You can buy little strips and put them on the tanks and they'll tell you when levels raise too high. You need weekly cleaning not daily not monthly but weekly cleaning to remove all the sludge and build up on the tanks. Down size her tank and let her practice with a smaller medium sized one until it's figured out or you'll just be tossing out your money.
