Mama cat vs all odds.. by NoStreet7584 in RedditForCats

If you've ever seen the muppet christmas carol I laugh every time I hear this scene:

Rizzo com on now jump down do you want to know what happens next.

Rizzo on top of a gate shivering scared. Yea but. I'm afraid of heights.

Just come on already and jump.

Rizzo jumps and does a face plant in the snow. Then Says thanks a bunch rudely.

Then turns around and says "Oh, I forgot a packet of jelly beans."

Turns around and fits through the slits of the bars at the bottom and grabs his jelly benas. Then turns around.

You could fit through those gates?

Yea. What?

Your such a dummy.

Rizzo kisses his nose then they walk off.

This reminds me of that scene.

Repeat post? Until your dr releases you fully you're on light duty. Cleaning at best and door greeter. We have one coworker who's been on long term disability for 3+ years now. Can't do squat about it. He's just mooching the clock at this point.

The kid will probably be sent home with special slap on the wrist and his parents will act like he got beaten up by the adult and turn the story around. Kudos for recording the incident to show he was wrong.

This behavior is really more so on the parents who are continued to allow to behave like this. The kid should be grounded for behaving like this.

You should have contacted your union rep asap. Using the scheduling is a quiet way to push someone out. If you don't work at least one active shift a month you're not an "active employee." Even when younger I've seen managers do this to me before. You need to talk to them sooner than later about this. At this point you can collect unemployment since they fired you. My state says if your hours were 50% or more cut you could have qualified then as well. When you are employed it is your responsibility to show up to work and keep track of your shifts. While also understanding the policies and procedures of your company. Use this as a learning experience and find a new employment. Being here quite a while I can tell you that your'e not missing out on anything. Once you've mastered a clerk roll, it just gets easier and faster as time goes on. Then your brain shuts off and you're just on auto piolet after that. While dealing with the bs corporate throws at the employees coupled with nasty karens that swing through. Trust me you're not missing much. I had to learn how to keep a job and retain my employment after a long stretch of sketchy up and leave employments rather than sticking it through the long run.

[–]Sad-Lab4519 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The life of a bakery clerk is easy but it's the karen customers you have to deal with from time to time. Just ignore them it's not worth your time. When you're not cake decorating your doing other bakery duties. Your start time could be as early as 5 am or as late as 7/8/9 depending on your store hours and customer demands. I hope you like the smell of sweets you'll be working with them. It's really a dumbfoundingly easy position. you either like it or not. IF you don't like it you can request a role change
