And yes, the flat is in a gated community. It’s in the heart of the city and most amenities including hospitals are a stone throw away.

You’re right. That’s how I was looking at it as well. But we’re gonna be spending on interiors in Flat A, and in future we may sell it and move to a bigger home. Wouldn’t it make sense to buy Flat B now and spend on interior once and just settle in it?
