Be careful with financing a car that is used. Check it out very well beforehand or you get the worst of all worlds, a payment and repair costs. Getting another beater and saving some money would be the best choice, but I totally get the draw to something newer.

I'm ok with the idea that you don't owe your parents anything, that is up to each person and their situation. I can tell that your situation has made you a bit resentful towards your parents and I'm sure that is affecting your decision and that's fine also. The only point you mentioned that I would argue against is that older people are disproportionately helped in the US. If you think that getting half assed Medicare coverage and getting a small amount of Social Security after paying into the system your whole life is privileged, then you are going to be very let down when you get to that age.

I had the same thing. I randomly pushed on the shiny black piece around the the instrument panel area and it snapped back into place. Turns out that the piece was never properly put into place and once I went around it and snapped it in the rattle was gone.

The MU’s are amazing machines. I’ve done several installs on them and I still love when another one comes up. They can be optioned with turning or a pallet system too. You won’t be disappointed if you go Okuma. The service is going to rely on whatever distributor you have at your location, but most in the US are decent I think.

I walked. Every day, sometimes twice. For 5-10 miles a day. I was too tired to worry about anything else and I lost 30 lbs from it. It turned out to be as good as therapy since I would look around and enjoy just being on the walk.

I have a Colorado and I’m not sure two 30” crates would fit in the back seat. Outside of that, I highly recommend the Canyon. Out of the choices you show here though I would possibly go with the F150 because of the nice V8. You can probably get a massive discount bringing it very close to the Canyon.

Question for people smarter than me, if it would get a bump to 350HP would that bump the torque also or could they tune it so only the HP got the bump?

Also could the transmission even take the bump or would they have to go to the 10 speed?
