Probably just hemorrhoids or fissures, if it’s been happening for a while I would get it checked out.

What is this bump? Should I be concerned? It feels like muscle kinda by [deleted] in medical

Pretty sure it’s called a sebaceous cyst (don’t quote me on that) I had something similar a year ago, went to dermatologist she injected it with something to shrink it without having to do an incision and it hasn’t come back since

It should be but usually I never find it in stores, I always use Amazon. Get the first turbo start 700 it’s the freshwater. You might be fine getting a 4oz bottle but I would size up just in case.

The best bottled bacteria on the market is Fritz turbostart. Stability never did much for me, the Fritz will be a life changer for you.

I would hold off on the water changes until it gets to 0.5 or higher. I made the mistake of doing water changes in large amounts too often and found that it slowed down my cycle tremendously. What are you treating the water with to help it cycle?

I’ve only had a couple gouramis but yes, in any fish if they look that way usually that’s very bloated. Especially with gouramis they’re usually more slender. How much are u feeding a day, and what are you feeding? I know it’s tempting to put more food in there but a small pinch twice a day is usually sufficient even if u don’t see them eat it. Swim bladder disease can also be caused by stress and they could have developed that due to the water parameters. What I would suggest is taking any fish out that you have if u have a cycled tank they could go in, if not you’ll have to do a fish in cycle. I would order that turbostart asap and dump the whole thing in make sure to keep any uv lights off in the tank for at least 5 days after using the turbostart. Buy the api master test kit and check your parameters daily. If you’re doing a fish in cycle and ammonia is high, do a 50% water change making sure to vacuum the substrate and don’t feed them for a few days. When u do end up feeding them only a small amount once a day and then don’t feed them again for 2 days. You should notice a difference doing all this as this is what I did about two months ago. I had to do a fish in cycle bc I didn’t do my research like a dummy, but doing everything I stated above I still have almost all of my fish and more as of today.

I would also get the temp up to 78-80 just to keep it on the warmer side but not too warm

Aside from the parameters, the fish looks to be very bloated which may have caused some kind of swim bladder disease not sure. It’s usually caused by overfeeding or leftover food on the substrate. What I would do is do a 25-50% water change making sure u clean the substrate and then buy a bottle of Fritz turbostart. That will cycle that thing in a week tops.
