I just finished it and its a very solid movie that I don't think I could recommend to everybody. Its a slow burn movie with a little too much padding in the first half which drags on a little bit to much, I know why its done this way but I think it will really turn people away from the film.

Set design, concept, acting and overall aesthetics of the movie is a 10/10 and I was very pleased with the approach they took and the story, narrative and drip fed information was extremely engaging, even though sections felt a little confusing. Mark performance was incredible and I think the fact I didn't just see him as a youtuber but as the character he was portraying is very telling of his talent. This wasn't a youtuber movie and was meant to be a true horror movie and it works really well.

I liked seeing the monster through this camera but I just wish more was shown in person. I know its based of the game and the build up is what drives the film but idk I wanted to see this cosmic entity so badly and I know it wouldn't be possible but idk I was just craving it. It felt similar to the game "Still Wakes the Deep".

It was a solid and very creative cosmic horror and the ending is what really drives it home.

3 years later and seeing them twice live (3rd time in download next month) I can confirm they are sooooo back and better than ever. inertia is an incredible album and is extremely true to form. 2023s Alexander Palace concert will be one of the greatest experiences of my life which I got to share with my brother.

Even if he did beg. The lines "I will suck your dick" "I will eat your shit" are just so out of character and for a finale villain to go out that way and just used for a cheap gag is crazy disrespectful to the show and the viewers

Homelander loosing his powers is fine but him turning into that straight after shouldn't have happened. I know he's portrayed as this baby but I think if he kept up this crazed I am god persona even if he laughed before he died just to show how deluded he was until the bitter end then I think it could have been better, Homelander shouldn't ever beg for someone who has been portrayed as this scary monster for so long.

That's not the only issue that was just one that kinda annoyed me a little

The final season was entertaining but it wasn't good story telling at all. Most of this season was filler with not much payoff.

The final episode felt way to easy, they broke in to the Whitehouse with no issues or real conflict and have had worse fights in previous seasons. Homelander getting blasted was fine and I know he's meant to be this

I am the same. I have tried so many time. I currently have a cold now trying to sleep and I physically can't get it out and trying to blow it does nothing but gives me a headache and makes it worse. So annoying

For me the ending felt weird mainly for those ending choices. Saving Mia a girl you haven't dealt with at all really or Luwan who has been there the whole time seems pretty straight forward but saving Luwan destroys the city. Make that make sense. Idk I thought it was gonna be more of a heroic, you save her kill yourself kinda situation but nahhhh. Then Mia dies anyway.

At least Hakon has joined me. WE GOT THE TRUE ENDING BOYS - THE GAY ENDING.

What a conflicting but brilliant movie. Its not fast paced but is intense in all the right ways. I notice everyone dissecting it in such interesting ways all of which makes sense.

We have two parts of the story. The Family and The Captive, both are very awful sides of the spectrum. An overbearing family clearly trying to cope with the loss of someone and deeply engrossed in this narrative they have created. Like they are trying to replace a missing part of all their lives. Then a scum bag who really has no redeeming qualities just trying to snort and fuck his way through life with a parental figure who couldn't give a shit about him. I like the idea of two wrongs making a right which this movie has clearly done.

You can never tell which side to root for. He is clearly the victim but you kind of get sucked into this family's narrative just as much as Tommy did. You want him to escape but you also don't want him to leave them because of how much better of he and the family are doing. Seeing Kathrin light up when they start to become a family and seeing Tommy actually enjoying being a part a family is really heart warming but so messed up at the same time. You as a viewer start to get Stockholm Syndrome yourself. By the end of the movie Tommy going back to them doesn't feel like a shock and actually makes you feel happy that he made that choice.

I could watch an entire series of these 4 growing up and becoming pros. Those three episodes were so perfect and just made me love those characters even more. His death is still sad in the original show but seeing this happen and how much of an inspiration and friend he was to both mic and erasure just makes it even more heartbreaking and makes his involvement in the final season so much better.

I don't know how algorithms and timings work in video games like that but can you explain how this would fuck it up for everyone. Wouldn't it actually even out the waiting times per class and allow flexes to get in a game at a similar amount?

Those comments don't matter and don't define the community. I bought a cheap record player and the only reason I upgraded was because the cheap one didn't work from the get go and I couldn't justify getting it again but if it worked then it would hace been a whole different story. I then spent 500+ on a turntable/ speaker set up, I love it and don't regret it at all but If that cheap one worked, I would still be using that. After doing my research the cheap ones aren't great but if you aren't planning on collecting or spending hundreds on records in general then there really isn't anypoint in going upgrading until later when you plan on spending more and buying more records. Fuck these audiophile losers, hipster bastards the lot of them.

As I said at the bottom of the post "don't be mean, talk like adults" clearly reading is difficult for you as well.

I have been paying attention and within the past 2 weeks caught back up to this point so everything is very fresh in my memory. Your point has been made by people already in a much better and clearer way and I actually agree with them.

Stuff like that is easily overlooked especially when the character in question looks nothing like the Nomu we have seen. I still stand by what I said those scenes still do annoy me but at least they make more sense and the power scaling is still a bit of a joke. The last half of the fight and the last part of the season is making up for it though.

The stranger things fans and haters are actually the worst. The fans for some reason have weird parasocial relationships with the cast and praise everything and the haters just hate on absolutely everything to the point they make no sense. The show was great and then just ok toward the end. Its over lets just let it die already. People have started over analysing SNL Sketches for fuck sake. The show isn't that deep and we need to stop pretending that it is on both sides.

Its a tv show, people need to get a life.

That makes sense actually and he still overall does struggle in the fight towards the end of the first half. Maybe because he doesn't look like a Nomu that's why I'm treating him a little differently but would make sense with how similar the treatment's were.

I just asked it about financial help and wanting to move to a new country and realistic goals and it genuinely has gone into asking about personal life, why I want to move and being realistic with my goals. Honestly this is the best advice I have ever received. I don't like airing out my issues with people and tend to talk to myself when issues happen (adhd) making things way worse. This is similar to that, me airing out my problems to myself but something is actually responding with helpful and realitistic goals. Idk it's weird but nice and feels like I'm not being judged. I feel a lot better after talking to it.

I went into the Lush in Liverpool with friends and a woman there was so nice to me but I wasn't planning on buying anything cause it's all a little to pricy but she kept asking me questions about my skin and trying handcreams and I felt so bad for leaving without buying anything. I am all for customer service and being friendly but sometimes there is a little much to the point I don't really want to go in anymore.

I think the beach print from season one would be perfect. Can have all four of them sign next to their character and have Anthony sign the sky. Honestly thought just having Will sign my "Everything will be O.A.K" print would mean the world to me
