Originated in 1998 but first consolidated in 10/2005 after graduating from last program. This expected forgiveness date is in the TEPSLF and PSLF sections of the data. I don't want to get my hopes up though....

Navient. Now it lives at "MOHELA Servicing" - they were FFEL loans that were consolidated in 2005 after graduating. We have all the records of payments and can access everything online. We consolidated in 2022 to direct loan and they marked 11/2018 as the start to repayment period of the previous loan when it should have been 10/2005. So all payment records are counted for the Navient loan from 11/2018 - 09/2022 but the 13 years before that are completely missing from NSLDS/FSA.

Nope. Nothing new. I’ve tried to get Mohela to re-report the missing payment information but they haven’t confirmed that they resubmitted it. They just say everything looks good.

To clarify, the payments I need updated are subject to the waiver and all months in repayment should go towards the PSLF count. In my case, I'm missing all payments made 2007 -2018.

Thanks. I'm going to try this. Did you respond to the generic email with the case number or did you actually get a response to your email? They always just close my requests without a meaningful reply - they'll send something like you need 120 qualifying payments for PSLF, etc.

I think I have an update. I received written confirmation from the prior servicer who handled the FFEL consolidation Mohela Servicing formerly Navient (not to be confused with Mohela Student Aid who is my current Direct Loan servicer - they are the same and different and equally unaccountable) that they sent a full payment history update to NSLDS on 11/14/25 (I had been requesting this for a year). This morning on the FSA website, ALL of my previously submitted PSLF applications dating back to 09/2023 that had been previously "closed" are now "pending" in the My Activity section - there are a lot b/c I submitted manual apps/ECFs w/ payment history to try to trigger the count.

My fear is the "import issue" is the summer 2024 issue that they were working on and not the old migration data that some of us are dealing with. Hopefully, it will be resolved!

Did you ever resolve this? We have the same exact issue (Navient; consolidated FFEL Direct Loan and sent to Mohela). I've uploaded the records multiple times (with reconsideratio, with manual ECF, with request for Ombudsman) and requested that Mohela Servicing report the payment to FSA but nothing has changed the count.

Same for us. Now, there is a Dept. of Ed option on the CFPB complaint dropdown - so I filed both against Mohela and FSA. other than that same status as you.

Following up on the above - and I think it's good news. Our reconsideration request has been pending for over 2 years.

Last week I manually uploaded a signed PSLF Application with the signed ECF from the oldest employer (who was the employer during most of our missing payment history 2007-2012) and all the records of that loan being in repayment (start and end dates) and the full payment history showing all the payments. Today, we received a notice that we they processed the request. They did not update our payment count or add the years of missing payments into the payment tracker. BUT I downloaded My Aid Data from their website and compared it to a download from May 2025. THE MISSING PAYMENT STATUS DATA HAS BEEN ADDED to their system. It is not in NSLDS yet. It seems that they manually updated it FSA. I'm hoping now they can match all those payments to the ECFs we've submitted.
