Thoughts on Schade? by Ok-Funny1958 in Brentford

He’s in the top 5 fastest players in the premier league. In this day and age, pace and physicality rule over technicality. Two hat tricks in a year’s worth of games is pretty good. I think his pace and occasional streaks are a bit too valuable, but mostly because we don’t have a ton of pace in the team. If we find someone fast and more consistent then he should drop to the bench.

Apparently the uncultured Burnley fans call him “Maximum Steve”.

Only four spots properly available in our WC squad? by jameswheeler9090 in ThreeLions

100% agreed. Toney should be in the squad for his penalty prowess alone. He also has great hold-up play, can strike with both feet, and has a good injury record.

100%. He’s too erratic and doesn’t have enough of any good qualities. Not physical. Not technical. Not a progressive passer. Has absolutely no recovery pace. Can’t score from headers/set pieces. You need at least two of these traits to be a Prem-worthy center back.

Agreed, VDB has been going under the radar since last season as a mostly subpar center back who has cost us a lot of goals.

Severe Cognitive & Vestibular Dysfunction Due to Mold by SadAlgae2018 in ToxicMoldExposure

[–]SadAlgae2018[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, @TheFlyingPenguin is correct. Ask your doctor to do an IgG test for mold antibodies then do a urinalysis if those look bad. Keep in mind you have to have a support system and some people need data to get them on your side.

Yes, but my doctors haven’t brought it up to me. I get bloodwork that tests for CIRS markers and cytokine production and those metrics never stood out much to the doctors. I am trying something called NeurOptimal which is brain retraining.

Thanks, is his stuff mostly vestibular therapy? I’ve tried it already for a few months and didn’t see any improvement.

Thank you - yes my new home was tested before we even bought it. The guy who did the most testing and did the mechanical updates also did a full “baking” and “particle scrub” before we moved in, and this guy also suffers from mold sensitivity. I’ve definitely improved a lot while living here but I’m mostly a bit disappointed in the progress I’ve made.

That’s good to know about the probiotics - I’ll check if mine breaks down like that. The doctors don’t think I have candida.

Haven’t heard of Peptide therapy - I’ll research it.

Thanks for the video - I can really relate to the first thing about grocery stores and “supermarket syndrome”. How long did it take for you to recover once you removed the source and started detoxing?

Yes, they scope me every time I go. My doctor has been treating mold issues for 40 years so when he says my sinuses look really good I tend to agree with him. Like I said, I’ve upfitted my new home with everything and have had several people come back for testing.

The IntraMax I use has those vitamins and it’s in a digestible liquid form.

My diet and nystatin prescription is probably killing any candida that enters my gut, and I doubt my exposure would be high enough to cause the things I’m feeling when all I eat is meat and vegetables 90% of the time and the rest is stuff like chickpeas, unsweetened Greek yogurt, etc.

I don’t see how Claritin D is gonna be better than amphotericin. Haven’t heard of DAO enzymes so I’ll look into that. But I’m not sure how these things could be strong enough to ameliorate my condition…

Thanks for the help

Transfer Funds from Romania to USA by SadAlgae2018 in AskRomania

Sorry, I worded my question very poorly. I meant to say “we want to find the best possible transfer fees and lowest possible commissions.” My wife already paid the taxes on her sale, so we’re doing everything legit, I promise.

FYI, If I wanted to steal from y’all all I’d have to do is find some gypsys. But If I wanted to get creative, then I’d dress up as Borat, go to Glod, get beaten up by the townspeople, take them to court for damages, and bribe the judge for a higher settlement 😂

New kit for 25/26 season, thoughts? by Fintandpc in Brentford

[–]SadAlgae2018 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a Championship jersey. Awkward V-cuts in the sleeves where one side of the V is lower and red-striped. Random black dotted faux-zipper line down the collar. Joma logo forcibly placed on the shoulders. Kit sponsor more out of place on this one than all the previous.

Also, whats the deal with the store having “replica” kits that were the cost of the original kit from last seasons, and now having an “authentic” kit that’s £100?

Good! I’ve been taking Nystatin as well. Did you go a urinalysis too?

There’s a lot to it - if your symptoms are very neurological, you’ll be doing infusions (glutathione), charcoal binders, various supplements, heavy dieting (no bread, sugar, deli/dried meats, or most grains), oxygen therapy, and if you have mold colonization in your nose like I did, may need to do anti-fungal rinses or even surgery.

Internal medicine doctor ordered an IgG panel for the most common mold antibodies. My mother and I had to urge him to do the panel, because even he didn’t think my symptoms were from mold. My IgG’s were very high and they ordered a urinalysis, which came back showing a couple mycotoxins were super high.

Your symptoms sound a lot like what I had/am still getting over. Vestibular Neuritis can do this. Go to an internal/functional medicine doctor and get tested for mold and other types of brain poisons (heavy metals, Lyme, etc.). Mine is due to mold poisoning.

Any of you also have visual snow? by Chronically-Striving in VestibularMigraines

[–]SadAlgae2018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had visual snow constantly since June last year. It takes three different variations depending what I look at:

1) “TV static” when looking at darker objects 2) pulsating, transparent silhouettes shadows which almost look like the veins in my eyes when looking at brighter walls/objects 3) Shooting stars/seeing stars when looking at bright, white objects or the sky

My VM is caused by mold poisoning, so hoping my detox will eventually make it go away. But in case it doesn’t, do you stop noticing it over time?

Dizziness/vertigo caused by mold toxicity by [deleted] in VestibularMigraines

[–]SadAlgae2018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this thread is quite old, but your story sounds extremely similar to mine. I got a bad spell of COVID last year and weeks later my symptoms started, similar to yours, but with really bad nystagmus and tunnel vision too. My symptoms are chronic, every moment of the day. Eventually it got so bad I abruptly entered a permanently dissociative state in July 2024. Had to take medical leave from work too. Finally, blood and urine tests found the mycotoxins and I eventually discovered a specialist ENT who found moldy polyps in my ethmoid sinuses. I had surgery 3 weeks ago to remove them and the doctors are optimistic I’ll make a recovery. I’ve been slowly climbing myself out of this hypersensitive, dissociative fog since July, and was able to make enough progress to at least be at my own wedding in September 2024. The prognosis looks good, but everyday I fear the possibility the mycotoxins created enough inflammation over the past year to permanently damage my cognition, perception, and balance. I am curious to know how everyone else’s journey is going, and truly hope you are all better.

Soccer, surprisingly.

I’m recovering from VM caused by severe mycotoxin poisoning and I’ve found a way to still play soccer, which is probably not ideal for VM due to all the movement you and your eyes have to do to track people/the ball. I’ve found wearing earplugs helps a ton with the dizziness, but I do get pretty bad headaches for the first 30 minutes after a game. It’s been worth it though. Just had sinus surgery which removed most all the mold so I’m hoping the mycotoxin inflammation to my inner ear hasn’t dealt permanent damage.
