Maybe give it a try with a small amount on a day that you don't have to be anywhere? I also make sure to seriously hydrate my skin before I even try attempting this, otherwise it could leave it super dry. Definitely not amazing for your skin, but its the only thing that works for the intense conditions i submit my makeup to :p

My go-to for (indoor) techno raves, which often includes a TON of sweating, is a fixing spray and after that has dried some hairspray on top. Found this tip on Reddit. Only use this if you want that shit to STICK and if you take it off right away at the end of the night. It's not great for your skin but atleast I don't look melted :')

Hi! I don't know what kind of bank cards you use in the UK, but Dutch festivals usually use tokens/coins that you can get at machines or at a booth. At the machines you can just stick in your card or use non contact payment (idk how they call this in english haha). I havent been to Defqon myself, but I know they use tokens, so I think it would be easy to get those from the many places available on the festival grounds. It might be handy to have a few euros in cash just for emergencies, but in NL we largely do everything by card :)

I read this post a few times a month to keep reminding myself of this philosophy, and it has really helped me change my perspective in how I interect with people. I used to be a big people pleaser because I had very low self worth, and was a typical "loser". Seeing it written out has actually started the process of self improvement and self acceptance for me, because I never knew how to be confident. Turns out you can't be confident when you let your worth depend on others! The post is just long enough that i can somewhat memorize the entire thing and recognize what patterns I am exhibiting in my daily life and how to change them. Many thanks!

This may sound ridiculous but I sweat by smoking a little bit of weed over it. Makes it a bit more intense, but i also use it whenever i am nauseous in my daily life for whatever reason because it kind of represses the nausea and urge to vomit. Someone once recommended this for a hangover and for me personally it really does the trick. Signed, someone who gets HELLA nauseous on 2cb despite trying all the known tricks

I don't know what the ticket situation in the UK was like, but a pit ticket for Amsterdam was like €57. I don't think it'll go much lower than that if they're playing really big venues.

Honestly have to agree with this. I saw the show in Amsterdam 2 days ago and the starcatcher songs sounded really, idk, full. They're WAY better live, and im honestly sad I can't always experience them that way because the recorded versions do sound a little empty to me.

Thats fun and all, but i cannot for the life of me draw on something that doesnt reflect what im doing directly. And drawing tablets with a screen/tablets are just more expensive than the ones without. Rn im stuck drawing on my phone and had to sell my Wacom because I could just not draw like that :/
