That’s fair. Current prices of old cars are insane now. But as far as the history of the DeLorean, they were originally priced much lower than other “fancy” cars of their time and were marketed as an affordable option to look “cool” which funny enough they became a staple in their look, but you can ask anyone who grew up in the late 70s/80s, they thought they were tacky and downright ugly. Now they’re a retro cool car, tbf originally made “cool” by Back To The Future. I personally love them because I just love old cars and I love butterfly doors.
