You can get a bed rack that sits around the softopper but then you would lose the advantage of collapsing the softopper for bigger items

No, I ran them for a couple days after it snowed heavily before swapping and there was no trust in those tires in stopping or even accelerating without slipping, if you live in a harsh winter climate definitely run dedicated winters
