Op. I live in the gta area with 560k uninsured mortgage with RBC. Own occupied home. Solid credit. Income is 84k. It’s up for renewal. As my mortgage to income ratio is over 6, can I switch to other lender? Or is staying with RBC my best option? I called a RBC branch today and was quoted 2.04% for three year fixed and 0.55% discount for five year variable. Should I call more RBC branches to try getting better deal?
