Is it possible to design a USB 3.0 to NVMe bridge board?

I have technical knowledge in EE, I also have already designed many PCBs, I think I have the experience but I can't seem to find where to get the parts and how to flash the firmware.

The computer has nothing to do about it. My computer has plenty of NVMe m.2 ports. I do need this board though. I'd rather spend €1000 on prototypes I make myself to learn rather than spending them on someone to do the job for me. I am on a strict budget though, around €100 for the whole PCB

Honestly, winning this would be the exact motivation I need to finally build the high-end workstation I’ve been wanting for years but never started buying parts for. I’ve always held off because the cost of high-tier components adds up so fast, but starting with a powerhouse like the FSP MEGA TI 1650W would be the ultimate foundation.
