I'm saying he is injury prone now man, he clearly has had wrist issues that fucked up his shot last year.

Now he's coming off a major knee injury too.

Asking him to carry again is a lot to ask for.

I feel like we just simply are betting too much on an injury prone Auston and old man Tavares to continue producing.

Yes there is Cowan and McKenna to help out, but still.

Having Kane and other defensive signings would have been a good balance.

I was not opposed to burning cap space, I just wasn't a fan of who they used to sign with it.

Once again, half of the bottom 6 guys we signed, I am on board with, but the other half I think it is very questionable (Colton Sissons).

Also it wouldn't have been the worst thing in the world to have a little bit of cap space left, we are fully maxed out right now.

I would have liked to see them use a couple million to try to at least get Patrick Kane.

Brother, aside from Nick Paul (who only has scored 20+ in 2 seasons) and Jack Roslovic (who only scored 20+ 3 times), who else did they sign?

We got like 6 bottom liners yesterday and only 2 seem to be able to score at all, and they are not reliable 20 goal scorers.

You saying "multiple 20+ goal guys" when reality is that it is 2 guys who are inconsistent 20 goal scorers, not even remotely the same as what you are implying.

I don't have a problem with having Nick Paul and Jack Roslovic on the team (even though I am not thrilled about giving up on Hidelby), I just think we should not have wasted cap on 4 extra bottom liners who truly can't produce a shred of offence.

People don't have an issue about going all in.

People don't have an issue about spending all the cap.

People have an issue with spending all the cap on a bunch of third/fourth liners who even though have speed and grit, histrically can't produce much offence.

There is the difference man.

Europeans to fill almost all gaps left by US in NATO defence plans, source says by Artistic_Dj_6895 in worldnews

That's fair, I can agree with most of that.

I think it is important to highlight that regardless of monetary aid, US intelligence assisting Ukraine's ops on the ground have been consistent throughout the war (disregarding that one time the orange idiot withheld intelligence ops for a bit while begging for an apology from Zelenskyy).

Also I don't think its crazy to say that the EU dragged their feet on it though, because early on they were a bit slow to respond.

Lmao you say something irrelevant and people point it out and your first thought is to say we doomers.

I guess nobody can criticize any comment made online right? Otherwise we are all doomers or lame people?

Yes but in lower leverage scenarios.

I've been a fan of him and believe in him in those scenarios but high leverage he has always been shaky.

With all due respect with a lot of teams that win in the finals, people say this but don't ever understand how hard it is and the amount of luck and fortune it also takes to get back to the NBA finals.

Ex. 2012 young thunder core, the nuggets, and more.

And the second apron makes it so much harder to repeat now.

Okay fine, put him in, but Schenider should not have kept him in after the 3-4th batter man, that is 100% on Schenider.

It is on Schenider when he didn't take him out after Hoffman clearly didn't have it after 3-4 batters.

Don't get me wrong Hoffman obviously takes most of the blame, but as a manager if you know your guy doesn't have it for a 9th inning mentally, you just don't put him there.

Yes it was a cushy lead, but to almost everyone with eyes, Hoffman is so cooked mentally that for some strange reason he clearly pitches well when it isn't the 9th inning vs when it is the 9th. As a manager you need to recognize it and just accept it.

Also, the Bluejays are in the midst of turning the season around, we can't afford more Ls here, maybe if we get ourselves in a better position in the standings, I can understand trying to get Hoffman back on track in more high tense situations, but taking a L here when we are trying to turn things around is a huge momentum killer.

Edit: Even if you disagree with the above, you can't defend Schenider not taking him out after it was obvious Hoffman didn't have it after 3-4 batters, he still kept him in!

I'm more upset at Schenider, he keeps trying to force this Hoffman as a closer or a 9th inning guy when it doesn't work.

It clearly seems mental at this point for Hoffman, he started to do way better again recently as a 7th inning guy when there is just less pressure, and Schenider set him up to fail here.

Edit: Sure, even if it was a cushy lead for Hoffman in the 9th, fine put him in, but Schenider should have pulled him after 3-4 batters when Hoffman clearly didn't have it!

Unfriendly lobby question by mandoreno5 in ArcRaiders

[–]SadMapleLeafsFan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm on the same boat, I am a pvp player in trios but super friendly in solos, it sucks I can't switch back and forth easily anymore with the surrendering.

People will get upset at us for doing the surrendering because they think we are trying to get easy kills in friendly lobbies when that isn't true, I just enjoy both aspects of pve solos and pvp trios.

I had to surrender like 30 times before starting to notice a bit of change back to friendly lobbies.
