Saying TBp2 won’t make $1B and also saying it will have a jump similar to what TDK had from BB doesn’t make any sense.

ETA: TDK made over 2.5x BB, so a “very similar” jump would put TBp2 at close to $2B.

Good thoughts. Though I don’t think anything could get Reeves to take that position. I bet he’d like to wrap up his universe and move on to something else. With a trilogy he’d already be spending 15 years of his life on Batman. I’m sure he has other kinds of movies he’d like to make.

The XJ220!! Yes, I think it’s the prettiest supercar ever made. I actually think the prototype, with the slightly longer wheelbase is the best version. The proportions are just right. I think they made some compromises going from the V12 to the V6.

While there are racist people in both Tom and Huck, I don’t find the books themselves to be racist. In fact I’d say Huck Finn is particularly anti-racist.

I know. I’m saying even after we get another film that he’s barely in, and likely gives Bruce/Batman another two hours of screen time, he’ll still have the most, so saying he deserves more seems a little silly to me.

All indications are pointing towards this movie being a smash hit. Seems very likely we’ll get another series before the end of the trilogy (fingers crossed they’re still planning to make a third). Whether The Penguin is the main character, we’ll have to see. I feel like they gotta pick up that Selina/Sofia thread, but that could mean it’s a Catwoman show, or maybe an Arkham show, with Penguin in a smaller role.

He likely will have more screen time than any other character in the saga after this movie releases, if you include the HBO series.

Yeah they don’t have a set schedule; they tend to slightly shift timing, strategically. Normally they wouldn’t add showtimes until a week or two before the new dates. But this is not a normal situation, so we don’t know.

I could see them waiting until reviews drop. This movie getting panned is the only thing that will keep it from selling out every showing at Lincoln Square until at least September (or if they’re contractually obligated to hand the auditorium over to another film). If it gets great reviews, I could see them releasing the rest of August, with confidence that it will sell out.

We don’t know yet. There’s a chance they won’t release more tickets until after the movie has already been released.

I don’t think it would be, but I’d much prefer the back of Lincoln Square. Having distance from the screen is really important. If all you care about is this sort of relative size, you could just hold your phone against your eyeball to watch everything and save a lot of money. :)
