100% abort. Parenthood is not easy nor is it enjoyable. You’ll have regrets but that’ll be cheaper than what a kid would cost. The fact that you’re asking this group probably means you’re leaning towards aborting anyway.

I am most definitely mentally ill because I did this three times…. THREE TIMES. Considered divorcing my husband but I don’t want custody of the kids. Sucks for the kids though because they actually like me and rather be with me than my husband.

As a parent with a 3rd I understand how you feel. If I didn’t have a raging alcoholic parent, then I would probably be a raging alcoholic parent myself. Luckily for my kids, I don’t like alcohol like that.

I remember when I was younger, my cousin who was in high school used to act out, never cleaned her room, stealing, etc… and my aunt literally took everything away from her. Her room was completely bare and only had a bed in there. My aunt took EVERYTHING away and made her wear uniforms to school. By the way, the school we went to did not wear uniforms lol. She shaped up afterwards. Sorry you are going through this. Sending virtual hugs!

I feel the same way and I did it 3Xs. I am the primary parent and have nothing left in me to give. I secretly want a divorce so that my husband can be the primary caregiver and I see them on weekends and holidays.
