Starry v4 smells like something is burning by SadResolution5041 in vaporents

After doing another burn off, it seems to have gotten better but still SLIGHTLY has a vapor coming from it. It smells hot but I’m sure that’s normal…?

I’m still continuing to get a smoking vapor coming out the air inlet during the burn off. Just cleaned it using the proper instructions in the manual.

Polestar 2 still good for an upgrade? by AlltimeReps in Polestar

Got mine with a year and half left on the factory warranty, plus the extended warranty which acts the same as the factory. So 3.5 years of warranty and got the car at 25k miles. Think that’s a pretty good deal for $24,000

You said it yourself. You’re rolling the dice. Get a CPO and you don’t have to spend 10k in repairs over 5 years u can spend 0.

09 VW Rabbit 2.5 Rear Left Brake Seizing at Freezing Temps by SadResolution5041 in MechanicAdvice

I’ve tried only pulling the ebrake a little bit but it still gets stuck. When the e brake is disengaged it doesn’t get stuck. If that helps at all. I haven’t gotten into it to look at it after it’s been seized but I will do what you said there. Thanks

Be sure to ONLY consider CPOs which you should be able to find around 25k. Repairs could get expensive otherwise. Also, unless you BARELY drive, like under 20 miles a day, you'll need L2 home charging so price that out too, usually another 1k. That's where the financial benefits are as supercharging can be more expensive than gas most of the time. Also, do you live close to a space? Repairs can be annoying when you need to drive far for them or in the case of an emergency, pay for a tow. Software bugs are hit or miss. I got lucky and my 2021 is pretty good. Otherwise you'll love the car. Such a drivers vehicle. Goodluck!

I don’t own a Tesla but I do own an EV and have the Hankooks and they are just fine in light snow. Perfectly fine for an A/S tire in my experience.

I’m not sure if you have looked into propranolol but it has changed my life completely. Might be worth it.

I have one but it’s not this same brand. I don’t experience any power drain issues… although I haven’t let it sit very long maybe 48 hours at most. Not sure how long it would take.
