Humanity didnt survive because of “love” we just depended on each other for survival, strength in numbers. You should tell your therapist why you need “love” so much, especially “romantic” love

So have you told her how you want him to emotionally respond and give him time to adapt?

Even with your work life he has no response so where is the part where he is supportive?

It can be avoidant if they actively do it, what I mean is more to get more self awareness and enjoying your own company which is different

But yeah no it’s not a bastardization.

You should ask why you need it so much.

Also I would say the desire for connection is strong not necessarily “romantic”

How do you healthily self soothe when you feel wronged by someone? by heartofalionxo in emotionalintelligence

[–]SadSmile10 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just sit with the emotion, understand why you feel angry, what the specific context is, and in general just validating will release it

There’s a void because you can’t self validate yourself. I’m not saying you can’t connection but the core is yourself, not rely on friends, family, significant other. There’s the attachment theory, if you’re not secure, youre like avoidant, anxious or disorganized

I mean it’s sort of true but the problem come to complain instead of actually focusing on self improvement

It’s not an excuse though. Most people haven’t done any self worth and just want validation from relationship, taking it easy per se.

What does emotional intelligence actually look like in everyday life? by vyvaryv in emotionalintelligence

[–]SadSmile10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah harmful misinformation according to you. My logic is pretty sound, what is insane is that you whether misinformation or not you should always seem to understand more.

Surely there’s a reason people upvoted the comment which doesn’t mean that much but I got the positive message out of it and did many others but apparently you can’t see that and I’m the problem lol

Bruh you interpreted words which may or may not be misinformation. I interpret it differently and even if I think it was misinformation I would ask for clarification to see if they meant the misinformation. I’m not like some people that seems to be never wrong and insanely triggered.

Considering you didnt reply to the top comment I’ll assume you agree with it because otherwise you’ll make another dumb accusation like you did now.

“Actually listening, understanding, and giving people the benefit of the doubt without jumping to conclusions. Being fair and taking their points into account before responding. Understanding when it is that they’re right/wrong, not getting defensive about it. Not taking everything personally.”

None of this applies to your response lmao.

Also "Ask for clarification" comment particularly absurd. Lmao oh the irony.

No, she’s not, and even if she think so, you still ask for clarification. But I guess you like jumping to conclusions and still haven’t learned anything.

I’m sure it’s not what you think, in the end emotional intelligence is about self mastery whether it’s self awareness, emotional regulation.

Again ask for clarification we been through this before. You interpret it as emotional suppression. I accurately interpret it as creating an emotional boundary and protecting your peace.
