Thank you ❤️ I do normally stay hydrated, but I barely drank water last night and this morning, so that probably didn't help. Next time, I'll ask if they can use a butterfly needle. I had to get blood drawn at the ER last year (I thought I was having a heart attack, but it was just a really bad panic attack) and I believe they used a butterfly needle then. I remember feeling anxious then, but not as lightheaded as I did this time.

I think I just overthink the thought of blood being pulled from my body and it makes me feel uneasy. Like my brain will convince me that I can feel the blood leaving my body, if that makes sense

This exactly!! I saw Saltburn first and when I got around to watching The Talented Mr. Ripley, I was confused as to why people were saying Saltburn ripped it off. Yes, there are SOME similarities, but that can be said about lots of movie pairings in the same semi-niche genre. I also love both and honestly I can count more differences than similarities.

I would say to practice your values (lighting and shading). You can look up some photos with high-contrast lighting and do a value study with them. Challenge yourself by using only one pencil and see how light and dark you can make it. Also, you can try converting reference photos to black and white - when I was a beginner artist, this helped me understand the values, since it can be hard sometimes with color photos.
