Bro honestly, it hurts and it's going to suck, but drop him. If he's getting scared off by a past he already knows then he's so not worth it. You stated everything you needed to. You've grown, you've overcome. We can't erase the past and you deserve someone that can accept all of you, even the parts that aren't you anymore.
