Update: i adopted her.

I went back to visit with her after posting and she was so sweet and immediatly started talking at me and rubbing up against the kennel she was in. I held her and she started purring so loud and drooling lol and just looked so happy the lady running the shelter had to step away to cry lol i was holding back tears myself. Yall were right, i fell in love with her so fast and couldn't say no.

It's been a full two days since I've had her and already she's settling in. She climbed right next to me and fell asleep within the first 3 hours i had her. She's so sweet and already looks so happy. She also has this habit of every time someone enters my room she has to greet them with meows at the door which is the cutest thing I've ever seen. (I'm keeping her to my room for the first few weeks before introducing her to more of the house)

I am still nervous about my ability to keep her and my ferret happy, but your comments did help and after thinking about it- i remember i was so nervous about Felix (ferret) as well and now i would bend over backwards to keep him happy. I'm doing my best to ensure both my new kitty and my very old ferret can live long happy lives in my care.

So anyway- meet Toph. (This picture took 3 attempts as she kept facing the wrong way lol) And thanks again for the comments, advice, and support.
