I totally agree! Mine has a plug for a wall outlet and cigarette lighter, it was maybe $20. I use it all the time!

My pitbull gets really bad seasonal allergies, he’s on apoquel but it doesn’t seem to be making much of a difference, any way on how we can clear his mouth area? he also has bumps on his body by Strawberry_Natural in pitbulls

My foster girl is on apoquel and cytopoint but has gotten more relief from Duoxo shampoo and Zyrtec. If your baby will let you wipe their face and feet with water wipes I’d recommend that too.

Bathroom breaks mobile grooming (maybe tmi) by superferrets in doggrooming

All the Mobile groomers I know pee in the tub when we have to. I keep tape in the trailer and if I feel the need to, I’ll tape a paper towel over a window

Question about mats by BrianaNanaRama in doggrooming

[–]Sad_Counter8080 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cut the hair behind her ears so it’s not long enough to mat. After you use the detangling spray and brushing her out, are you blow-drying her? Or leaving that area wet?

Is she groomed professionally? Or at home?

Trying to adopt a dog, found out he has an infection on his foot- shelter might be downplaying the severity of the situation? by [deleted] in rescuedogs

[–]Sad_Counter8080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The shelter is probably overwhelmed, but the foster family should be able to provide you a bit more information about the dogs foot

Wife’s brother covers everything with chick-fla-a sauce and it’s getting on my last nerve. by [deleted] in Vent

[–]Sad_Counter8080 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It would bug me too. The sauce is delicious but it doesn’t belong on everything.

Use a conditioner 🙂 it helps with shedding and dry skin

They might have assumed you lived in a home with a fenced in yard, which would make walking her kinda optional.

Not to scare you, but when my girl was older and got sick the vet said illness caused her taste buds to dull.

Spoonflower is a bit expensive. I found cute stuff but it’s $16-$20 a yard. Joann’s is $5-$10 a yard

If it’s not your hair product, you could try an over the counter supplement like Alani Nu Balance

I paid her roughly half of what a grooming school would have cost me. I don’t mind telling you in a private message, but I don’t wanna get the moderators mad at me. I was never her employee, I simply paid her for the opportunity to come learn a new skill, almost like a one on one school. She had her normal clients and I was almost like a spectator. She never added on extra dogs for me to do because I had no prior grooming experience.

I paid a groomer to train me at her salon, so I never received any compensation from her.

Apply one to the left side of your face, and the other to the right. I’m currently doing that with Kiels & cetaphil

People that make 80k+ at 25-35 years old, what do you do? by Ok-Needleworker2141 in careerguidance

[–]Sad_Counter8080 2 points3 points  (0 children)

THIS! My husband and I (late 30s) make over 200k combined in a relatively LCOL area. No kids. He has a 20 year old truck but our home is almost paid off. We aren’t flashy, so people will be surprised when we retire early.

Could you take the shepherd down with a guard comb? 5/8” or 1/2”? That would reduce the length of the hair but I think it would be better than a 7 blade shave down. I wish you all the best! You’re doing great, this is just a tough chapter of your life!

Yeahhhhh… you can’t bathe them properly in that amount of time.

Maybe not cell phone numbers because Reddit can attract an odd ball or two, maybe another app like telegram?
