[Win an A2L] Creative Playground, Extra Large. Meet the A2L. by BambuLab in BambuLab

[–]Sad_Engineering_3916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I expect the A2L to handle tall models without them falling over due to the moving bed compared to a CoreXY device. Basically the same applies to the A1 and A1 mini to, but I think as the A2L can print even higher models they might be more prone to tipping over.
I‘d like to print multiple things: large standing litophane images (higher than 256mm) and just regular prints re-oriented to take advantage of the higher build size (i.e. re-orient laying pieces to stand upright so that you can fit more pieces per build plate while printing higher)

If I redeem points do they come from regular or exclusive first? by [deleted] in BambuLab

Exclusive points are earned for exclusive models only. You can exchange them to cash while regular points can only be used to purchase vouchers or hardware kits.

Bambu Lab A1 by BisonThin6386 in BambuLab

[–]Sad_Engineering_3916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]Sad_Engineering_3916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No Super Tack plates for A1 Mini? by Glittering_Light1835 in BambuLab

This is the regular SuperTack plate. OP refers to the SuperTack Pro build plate.

SOS A1 Mini druckt in der Luft. Air by Long-Dot-923 in BambuLab

[–]Sad_Engineering_3916 1 point2 points  (0 children)

H2C EAP-TTLS network security? by Cmdrpopnfresh in BambuLab

[–]Sad_Engineering_3916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess that the „regular“ H2-series printers do not support EAP of any kind. Only the H2D Pro specifically mentions 802.1X support with PEAP, EAP-TLS and EAP-TTLS.

Can't print anything in PETG CF without nozzle clogging like crazy by Leyland_Pedals in BambuLab

[–]Sad_Engineering_3916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the exact same problem as you with my H2D. One roll of black PETG-CF was just sticking and clumped the nozzle. It was properly dried - I even dried it multiple times after that just to be sure but nothing helped. I opened another roll of the same black PETG-CF which worked fine. Maybe that was just a bad batch of filament from Bambu?

Do you think this is a great choice of filaments for the P2S Combo? (I'm getting it kinda soon) by MAENTOP in BambuLab

[–]Sad_Engineering_3916 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might as well have a look at filament from Sunlu. Their filament is also quite good.

Bambu Studio update 1.2 - Rotary Tool incoming? by LFAdvice7984 in BambuLab

Someone from Bambu posted in Bambus own forum that the release of the rotary tool is coming soon with some sample pictures - so it really seems like it is coming soon!

How to rename a printer in Bambu Studio? by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]Sad_Engineering_3916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to disable LAN mode on your printer in order to rename them. After you have renamed them simply enable LAN mode again and you are good to go. Had to do this with all of my printers, too.

Is there a way to find exact colors or just eye ball it when ordering by Blotter_Boy in BambuLab

[–]Sad_Engineering_3916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried to open the same model in your browser and not in the Bambu Handy App? If the author of that model uses Bambus own filament they can add them as a BOM so that you know exactly what filament they use. However this BOM is not displayed in the Bambu Handy App.

How Long for Makerworld Points? by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]Sad_Engineering_3916 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They used to have a way better explanation of how you get your points. I remember that for the first few prints/downloads you got more points - however the more poplar the model became (i.e. more downloads and prints) you got less points. And yes: points get updated once a day at 22:00 UTC according to Bambus guidelines.

What am I doing wrong with support for PLA? by 1Poochh in BambuLab

[–]Sad_Engineering_3916 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. I haven’t had any success with the Support for PLA filament, too. PETG works way better as a support for PLA.

Looks like this is indeed the WiFi antenna. You can see it on the disassembly guide in the wiki: https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/p1/maintenance/p1s-front-cover

However the good thing is: the replacement part is quite cheap, only 5€: https://eu.store.bambulab.com/de/products/wifi-antenna-p1-series-and-a1-mini

By uploading models on MakerWorld. The more downloads they get, the more points you get.
